Bar has a very cool atmosphere inside, not your standard Berghütte. Gulasch was very nice and addition of these slightly grilled bread pieces was a super nice touch.

Nice people, great view of Lake Sarnen

Well located in the village with parking. The service staff is courteous and friendly. The food is fresh and tastes very good. You don't have to wait long either. During my visit there was also a small dessert that was also homemade. The price-performance ratio was great. Keep it up.

Very nice attentive service. The apple pie was excellent.

The service was friendly. The pizza I got didn't look appetizing and the kebab box had a strange aftertaste.

Cool little shop with a café. You can either eat your groceries on site or order something. The various “Brettli” are made with local products from the store.

I really enjoyed the food. The burger was very tasty and value for money was right for me. The dessert was also good (Mövenpick ice cream). The ambience was quite pleasant and based on the Austrian style, but unfortunately the bench wasn't really comfortable. There were pillows, but not enough for everyone. The service was also friendly and it was a nice evening. There is also a photo wall (but the lighting conditions are not suitable for it).

We came here on day three of our five day stay in Engelberg, hoping for some nice “light” cuisine. The atmosphere was very nice, it is a clean and stylish restaurant and the view over Engelberg is fantastic. The service was very friendly and in most parts very good, except when two new tables arrived at the same time and we had to wait over empty glasses and empty plates for quite some time, while the food and drinks orders of the other tables were taken and brought out… I suppose that is understandable, but maybe it would make sense to get some more staff to cover busier evenings. The food unfortunately was only “ok”. It was perfectly fine but nothing exceptional. We had Pad Thai, the ginger beef and the duck in lychee sauce and all were certainly edible but far from the best Thai food we ever had. The desserts, especially the pancake, were disappointing. The portion was tiny and it tasted like it had been made way in advance and had been reheated, so ended up being very dry. All in all I wouldn’t come here again.

The chocolate Easter bunnies are impressive. A great range all year round too. The ice creams are the best
