I am delighted to share my positive review of the Barryland Museum at Great Saint Bernard. I recently visited this museum and was enchanted by the experience. First of all, the museum offers an excellent presentation of the history and lives of the famous Saint Bernard dogs. The exhibits are well organized and informative, allowing visitors to learn about the importance of these dogs in mountain rescue. I was fascinated by the anecdotes and stories about the exploits of the Barry dogs and their companions. In addition, the museum offers interactive activities that will appeal to young and old. I particularly enjoyed the opportunity to participate in a search and rescue demonstration with the St. Bernard dogs. It was a unique and moving experience that allowed me to better understand the extraordinary work of these animals. The museum team was also very welcoming and passionate. The guides were available to answer my questions and share their knowledge about Saint Bernard dogs. Their enthusiasm was contagious and added an extra dimension to my visit. Finally, the location of the museum is simply magnificent. Located in Grand-Saint-Bernard, in the Swiss Alps, the surrounding landscape is breathtaking. I was able to enjoy great views of the mountains while learning about the history of Saint Bernard dogs. In conclusion, I highly recommend the Barryland Museum in Great Saint-Bernard. It is an enriching and captivating experience for anyone interested in history and nature. A must if you go to Leukerbad! We have been going to this restaurant regularly for years, the Beckert-Grichting family knows how to welcome and take care of its customers, we have an exceptional time every time. The menu offers delicious specialties, refined starters, excellent cuts of meat, always with a magnificent presentation. Very nice wine list too. We also had the opportunity to stay at the hotel, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, excellent breakfast. Thank you for everything, we are already looking forward to coming back soon!

At this Rest. Baschi it is recommended to reserve a table in advance. Great ambience. Some of it is cooked over an open fire. Good food, wine and dessert menu. Great team. An oasis of enjoyment and well-being

Only reachable by skis or boards, the location is outstanding. We sat outside with a direct view of the Matterhorn. The rosti was especially great.

I have never been disappointed. The place is magnificent and it is the best hunting found in a hundred leagues around.

Extremely disappointed with the lack of attention to detail from the servers. I sat for approximately an hour, completely ignored while the servers were hopping around the restaurant. Granted, they were exceptionally busy since there were two servers managing approximately 100 people, but still outrageous. Please get more staff if you’re going to take on this many tables.

Magnificent evening spent in this restaurant. This was the 4th time I went there and each time the menus offered are incredible. Pure taste moments. The quality of the dishes, the service, the chefs who come to introduce themselves.... everything is there. Thank you for taking us on a journey every time.
