Full plate of delicious food. Very friendly service. I was just passing through Brig but I would definitely eat here again.

I usually don't order a basic piece of meat at a restaurant. I find the prices too high for something which I can easily do at home. BUT although I'm a pretty good cook, I have never gotten a steak or entrecôte to taste like this. Don't know how the cook does it but the meat is absolutely divine. The sides are freshly made and just the right amount. Very nice cozy chalet style setting, wonderful and super friendly service: our waitress, Sandy, was wonderful and the food was, again, incredible. Nice selection of local wines. We had the red assemblage which went perfectly with our dishes. We were there for my partner's birthday and before I could ask for dessert and give my candle to them, they brought us a Toblerone mousse (soooo good) with a candle and a sweet "happy birthday" song. It was so nice. It's a tiny restaurant so it's probably good to reserve. The prices are typical Swiss - yup... a bit on the high side but you really get your money's worth both in overall quality and quantity. We had been there a few years ago before the pandemic and were amazed - just as we were again this time. Hopefully it won't take us this long again to go back.

We (3 adults, 2 children) enjoyed lunch here today. Very fine, nice salad buffet. In the summer with the large terrace it is certainly much better because of the space available. Pay with cash only. We'd love to come back

The Sonderbar - or Käthy's - is the place to have a drink and meet people. Served by the most charming barmaid ever. There is always good music playing here and we have been able to experience many a festival here. The audience here comes from young and old.
