Very authentic Italian food in zurich

Lots of things to improve. Training of indoor staff essential. Penne a la arabiatta far from being spicy. Glasses of wine measured to the bare minimum. Very industrial tiramisu. All for €53. Very Swiss price. Don't really want to come back.

On our way to Interlaken we picked up take out & it did the job. The owners are so sweet! We ordered several things, kung pao chicken, lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, fried vegetable rolls. The sweet and sour was the best thing. I would go back for that.

Very nice staff. Small but fine selection. The coffee is very tasty and there are also decaffeinated and lactose-free alternatives. The Italian desserts are authentic and sumptuous. The individual cakes (made to order) are unparalleled in terms of decoration and taste.

Landing in Zurich at 11 pm to wait on our 6:30 am flight - the hours at Porta d’Oro not only helped us fill the time but the owners are the kindest people! From playing darts to charging our phones for us, their hospitality transcended language barriers and we felt comfortable throughout the night. Also, the hamburger was delicious 😋
