Everything was great, we eat in this restaurant almost every week.

Are you looking for a transalpine family atmosphere? Go for it ! Madame receives you with sympathy and puts you at ease and takes care of you with her kind assistants. The boss, after finishing his series of pizzas, spontaneously comes to chat with you. Difficult to find an establishment open Saturday lunchtime in the neighborhood, this couple is there, as are the regulars. Excellent dishes, reasonable prices.

I have visited and eaten at this great restaurant twice so far. ;-) On my first visit I chose the dish “Spaghetti alla chitarra con vongole veraci, gamberi e pomodori pachino”. The first thing that came to mind about this work of art on my plate in front of me was the memory of a similar dish that I ate for the first time in Italy in 1989 and for the first time in my life. When a chef can revive 33-year-old memories, it's more than just great cinema. The service, the food and the ambience deserve more than “just” 5 stars.

In the Meride area, a few hundred meters from the Monte San Giorgio fossil museum, the tavern offers first-rate cuisine, with great attention to the choice and preparation of the ingredients, which come from a tradition revisited for today's taste. Choice linked to the seasons and the territory, attention to the customer and availability make the Osteria absolutely recommendable.

It hadn't really caught our eye until a heavy rainstorm which made us look for a quick dinner next to our hotel. With a first glance you think it is a café-bar but it has a relatively extended variety of food options. We enjoyed the food but for my taste it could have been a bit better (e.g. risotto was too liquid and the Bolognese had too much tomato sauce). Other than that, the service was great and the atmosphere was nice & vivid! + Dog friendly!

Family run. Varied menu available for any palate or need. Possibility to also eat bourguignonne; the fillet is very good. It is advisable to reserve as it is always full at lunch, dinner depends on the evening. For the holidays they always organize some event. Possibility to see the dishes of the day on the restaurant's social network. Little choice of desserts. Wheelchair accessible.
