Yet another confirmation of the excellent all-round quality of this temple of the art of cooking (in fact the name refers to the works of art on display but I would dedicate it to the literally artistic creativity of continually creating extraordinary dishes. What's more, with a brand new, exceptional, vegan menu, respecting individual sensitivities and the environment. Every time I conclude a meal, even after so many years, I find myself amazed by Master Oertle's imagination: there is not a single time that it is repeated, whether it's pasta, risotto, meat or fish and now even vegan. It's a dream journey between one sensation and another, a whirlwind of aromas, flavours, visions of dishes that are new and different each time. The combinations between one matter and its side dishes are always "fun" for the palate and the eyes. Last night two hours flew by between a pre-appetizer and an appetizer then another taste of a different dish and then moving on to another dish and so on until the amazing desserts. All seasoned with high or very high quality wines (but you can also drink them at reasonable prices), thanks to a historic, proven and affably professional staff. Marvelous.

A magnificent meal. As much for the eyes as for the taste buds. It was a great dining experience. 2 exceptional menus to choose from. We had a full seasonal menu, with the selection of accompanying wines. Wines and dishes were perfectly matched, congratulations to the cook and the sommelier who are very talented. The sommelier provided very interesting explanations. The 3 servers and sommelier present were all very professional and very smiling. The atmosphere is very soft, the choice of colors delightful and the music by the pianist in the bar next door is very pleasant. An exceptional meal to end a week which was no less exceptional for us.

A place to stay! Back to the roots of gastronomy, hospitality, the traditional welcoming culture of our country, back to ourselves. Into a small and very fine hotel decorated with great attention to detail, paired with a beautiful view and the romantic hilly landscape of Ticino, an experience !

Excellent pasties and aperitifs

The home cooked dinner was ordinary. However, the hostess thought her cooking skills were extraordinary. Dinner took place in the same room as breakfast. The owner was constantly present, so there was no privacy. He sat next to us and worked on his PC, the room was also his office. We were also asked to withdraw promptly at 9 p.m. They wanted to give us counseling sessions with a lot of emphasis and that was extremely unpleasant. Otherwise the host was friendly, but we experienced rejection from the hostess and didn't feel welcome.

The pizzas were delicious and the service was also very nice, unfortunately the tiramisu desserts were still frozen inside. Overall a very nice place.

We ate at the restaurant twice, for dinner and for breakfast. Everything was delicious, real, home-made flavours. Chefs Danilo and Vera are artists, and Brando and Celine's service is impeccable. The guys also made us wait for the bus to Lugano inside while it was raining, even offering us coffee. 5 stars because you can't give 6 :)

I will be sincere. The first time I went there to eat the pizza I didn't like it at all and I decided not to go there again. Then I heard that the chef/pizza chef had changed and I gave it a second chance. I'm happy I did because the pizza was really very good and the ingredients were well balanced and the dough and cooking were excellent. I will definitely go back.

Pizza e pasta di qualità, si mangia sempre molto bene. L'ambiente è rilassato ed è molto piacevole discutere con la proprietaria. Consigliamo di andare a mangiare in tranquillità, prendendosi il tempo di gustare la cena e rilassarsi. Sconsigliato a chi va di fretta.
