Everything was great, the service was super friendly and the decor was also very inviting. The portions are not too big and not too small either so they were just perfect. I can only recommend the apple fritters, they were super tasty.

Every company has as good as the worst employee - and here it is the boss herself. Yes, I didn't see the sign on the ground at the entrance to the terrace (please wait for them to be placed). But that's no reason to have your boss yell at you from behind without greeting you. It continues in a spiteful, didactic tone until she finally allows you to sit in a free seat.

Sofort wurde der Sonnenschirm zurück gelassen und mit einem breiten Strahlen im Gesicht suchte er das Mäuschen. Dann trat er mit den Füssen nach dem Mäuschen, bis es tot war. Trotz den schockierten Blicken von Passant*innen zeigte er sich stolz über seine Tat. Ganz ehrlich: sucht euch neue Mitarbeiter oder falls du der Besitzer bist: denk mal über dein Handeln nach. Da verhunger ich lieber, als nur einen Schritt in die Pizzeria zu setzen…

I paid a parking fee without consumption of CHF 43.20 because I parked my car briefly to accompany my disabled son to the toilet with coffee in the adjacent bakery. I didn't see any parking restrictions when the car was parked. I paid the amount so as not to generate more bureaucracy and hassle. The hotelier probably needs such income to survive. Great advertisement for the Hotel Simplon -> I will definitely never be a guest there.
