I traveled this road by car a half a dozen times! Nietzsche hiked this road, then a trail, by foot, according to John Kaag, in his “Hiking with Nietzsche”. It is spectacular, and adjacent to Arosa, Linzer hide, Flims, And Davos. This region is relatively unappreciated by Swiss tourists, because of the need for a car. Other than the popular Rail route, The Bernina express, the only access to this region, is by car.

We were only at the bar, so I can't comment on the rooms. But what I can say: We received a very friendly welcome. Local delicacies were served with the drinks we ordered. The service was also excellent. We'd love to come back.

pizzas are great and the restaurant is very nice. house dressing for the salad was terrible. also they were very pushy because they booked the table twice.

Simply very good. Flower decorations throughout the house, sensational.

The food is fine, there's no question about it - but we were missing that certain something in all of the dishes that would elevate the food from "good" to "outstanding" (and I think you can expect more than just "good" given the prices quoted) . This applies to my taste, especially when it comes to seasoning (and just put a salt and pepper mill on the table! Salt and pepper in homeopathic doses for a larger group is simply tedious). But that's a matter of taste overall. As was the service, which was extremely attentive to us. So much so that at times it became a bit tiring that someone was constantly supplying something, stocking up, refilling, etc. (for example salt and pepper in homeopathic doses...). But if it were different, others would write that the service wasn't present enough... If you want to eat boringly well in the best sense of the word and enjoy the full attention of the service, you are definitely in good hands here - the ambience is very nice and cozy.

Unique experience of the regional gastronomic terroir.

A wonderful dining experience, in a lovely classic dining room and with food to match. We had the pressed duck (canard a la presse), which was excellent. We also had an “essence of chicken” soup to start, which was pretty much what you’d expect from the name, intensely chicken-ey, and a gingerbread spice soufflé with plum compote and tamarind ice cream, for dessert, which was absolutely delicious. Service was attentive and professional, just the right balance between friendliness and formality. I suggest that after dinner you go for a digestif in the hotel bar next door, which is small, cosy, and has a comprehensive and interesting cocktail menu.

Very fine food. The quality of the products and preparation were impeccable, especially in terms of taste and the combination was very well coordinated. The waiter is an old school "restaurant expert", friendly, attentive, smiling. Overall, I would visit this restaurant anytime if I'm in the mood for more upscale food. I would describe the ambience as a bit old-fashioned and, at best, “classic and a bit outdated”. But that doesn't have a negative impact on the food. And that is obviously the most important thing when “eating out”.

Wir waren schon öfter in der Ustria Trin Staziun und haben uns dort jedesmal willkommen und zu Hause gefühlt. Johannes Zepf ist Gastgeber im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes. Gleichzeitig aufmerksam und unaufdringlich beraten er und sein tolles Team die Gäste. Der Service klappt auch zu Stosszeiten reibungslos und wir mussten nie lange warten.Wir haben je nach Tageszeit in der Ustria die Capuns probiert (hervorragend!), einen Salat oder ein kaltes Plättli genossen. Das Essen war nicht nur verführerisch angerichtet sondern schmeckte uns auch immer ausgezeichnet. Dazu ein Glas Wein und wir fühlen uns regelmässig im Paradies angekommen und kommen gerne wieder, zu Fuss von Reichenau den Vorderrhein entlang oder nach einer Fahrt mit der RhB. Sehr beeindruckendes und super schönes Landschaftspanorama so weit das Auge reicht .Sehr gute Wegbeschilderungen und sensationelle Aussichtspunkte. Diesen Tagesausflug muss man als Berg und Wanderfreund in bleibender Erinnerung genießen und behalten. Auch von Familien mit Kindern ist die beeindruckende Rund Wanderung Rund um den Muottas Muragl sehr beliebt, und bietet sensationelle landschaftliche Erlebnisse..
