It was a rainy Sunday evening when three of us were able to enjoy a great Brazilian menu. The waiter and waitress gave us excellent advice and service from the time we entered the delicious meat temple until we left. The wine and drink recommendations were top This wasn't my first visit where I was able to celebrate a company Christmas dinner there. Keep it up and see you soon.

As a Portuguese who is a food lover, and that actually lived in Brasil for near 1year, I can certainly say that I know quite well the typical Brazilian Rodízio, and this Restaurant is the only one where I have eaten a Real Rodízio in Switzerland! Everything was on point! Starting with the staff sympathie and attention, all the way up to the food.. oh the food!! That was one of the best Picanhas I have had in years!! We where served with a variety of meats that kept coming, from chicken to entrecôte and several refills of Pichanha!! We loved it and for sure we will be back! Thanks to the team for the great meal and good time!

Absolutely the best restaurant in Lucerne with a great concept. Many different high-quality and tender cuts of meat all-you-can-eat for a very good price. I would recommend this restaurant to every non-vegan and non-vegetarian as their first choice for eating in Lucerne.

We wanted to enjoy a Rodizio at Churrascaria do Sul 3 weeks ago and made a reservation for it. It was mentioned several times on the phone that we were 3 adults and a toddler in a stroller. After the gentleman on the phone confirmed that this was possible, we drove from Zurich to Lucerne full of anticipation, only to be rudely approached by the gentleman in question and accused of saying that we had reserved for two people and there was no room. It was important to him to make it clear that it was our fault and not his. This happened in front of around 20 other guests in a way that I have never experienced before. It seems as if the gentleman didn't have a particularly good childhood and he should definitely look for a job where he doesn't have any contact with customers. We were then warmly welcomed at the Rio Churrasco in Stansstad, which created a space especially for us.

Wonderful. It's a spectacle to be in another country and find your roots, delicious food, unique service. Very satisfied!

We wanted to eat in this restaurant this evening and therefore explicitly made a reservation by phone for three adults and a child in a stroller. When we got there hungry, the waiter replied rather abruptly and unfriendly that we had only made reservations for two adults and one child. Even after we confirmed that we had reserved it correctly, he refused to accept it and continued to blame us. Because of the poor service, we quickly left and ate at another restaurant.

We heard so many good things about the restaurant. So we got a hotel room, reserved a table there and drove to Lucerne on Saturday to Sunday. We were well served, the entire staff is super nice and accommodating. The wine selection is well considered and goes wonderfully with the food. The meat is super tender and couldn't be better. After dinner you can spend the rest of the evening there with cocktails in a cozy atmosphere. We felt completely comfortable and haven't eaten such good meat for a long time. We are already planning our next stay in Lucerne and will have dinner here again.

The Brazilian flair is missing and the drinks prices are a bit too high. Otherwise everything is fine

10/10 would recommend! Mario the owner was just about to close for a holiday weekend as he already had his final guests but politely asked us to come back in 1hr and he would take care of us. We did as asked and came back to have their amazing rodizio. The food was amazing, his service was incredible and all fairly priced. This is a must go to if visiting Luzern.

Very welcoming restaurant with friendly staff and very good meat, on the other hand it is the most expensive restaurant I have paid in my entire life. There is only one Menu - rodízio It costs 65.-CHF per person plus drink and dessert No parking P.S the price is unknown until the time of payment because there is no access to the Menu card and the price is fixed (65.-chf) regardless of the quantity of food. A word of advice - if you want to try this restaurant you have to be prepared to eat a lot 🤭

My husband and I are staying for a few days in Lucerne, and we decided to visit this restaurant. Although we were unsuccessful in trying to make a reservation we decided to give a try and stop by. First, my husband approached the server and he abruptly interjected to tell us he didn't speak English. Then we decided to speak in Spanish so he proceeded to alert us about how much money we were going to spent and the restricted menu for the night. I am writing this review to let the managerial component of the restaurant know that you should consider to train your staff to be courteous and act professionally and ethically with ANY customer. Always consider that the first impression you create affects the credibility of your service. We are so grateful that we found another restaurant that embraced and welcomed us ending in the most fulfilling experience in Lucerne s dining.

We were at Mario's yesterday and were able to enjoy our team event to the fullest. The ambience, the service and the food are simply sensational. Churrascaria do Sul is a must for meat lovers.

The restaurant is nicely decorated. Very nice and attentive service. There is really perfectly prepared meat grilled according to the cooking level according to the guest's wishes. You should really be hungry because there is endless meat and the boss is very generous with that. If you're vegetarian or vegan, don't go in there 😀 I'll definitely come back 👍🏼

We made a reservation at short notice on Saturday afternoon for two people for Saturday evening and we were given a table without further ado. We were warmly served and the meat was extremely good! Super delicate, great quality. Even the chicken meat was EXTREMELY tender! Picanha was our highlight, we were offered picanha several times in large quantities :-) again a huge thank you. At the end we were offered an ice-cold limoncello - a nice gesture and, above all, very tasty. Our constructive criticism: Serve side dishes in a smaller bowl, several times. This keeps the side dishes nice and hot. We're not deducting a star because everything else was perfect. We would like to come again :-)

We had to wait almost 40 minutes before anything got served to us. For a brazilian steakhouse the variety of meat was quite low, 5 varieties and only 2 were beef, and the quality was far from what I'm used to.

We were in Lucerne for a few days with my partner and while looking for where to eat good meat, we came across this establishment. We've been there. Not a cat. In fact, the owner was on site putting everything together after 7 months of renovation and he opened the establishment today, 06.01.2023. he still offered us to stay and served us. Rice, black beans, potatoes and homemade fried bananas... After the meat 😍 magnificent, tasty picanha. Tender and tender meats. The chicken was so tasty too. It was a great experience, having the restaurant just for the 2 of us and the chef taking great care of us. I recommend it for all lovers of generous Brazilian cuisine and, above all, which only serves quality, minute-cooked meat. Unlike other churrascarias, there is no buffet. Only quality

Best Churrascaria in Central Switzerland!!

We were having dinner in a larger group and the whole evening was an absolute disaster - I've never experienced anything like that. The food wasn't bad, but the service was an absolute disaster. When we arrived 20 minutes after the agreed time, we were greeted unfriendly with "A little late, hey." We then waited for over an hour for the salad. The biggest outrage, however, was that the owner wanted to charge us for 13 people (we made a reservation for 13 people, but then 4 couldn't), even though we had only eaten for 9 people. After ages of discussion, we finally paid for 9 people. The worst thing about the boss's behavior was that he argued with us for at least an hour throughout the evening and just wanted to hear from us that we were to blame for everything that went wrong, not him. He was absolutely not interested in making us feel comfortable and satisfied as customers, he just wanted to be right. Unfortunately, the boss here absolutely didn't understand the word customer service - a shame. Once and with 100% certainty never again.

This was unfortunately a very bad experience... first, we waited 2 hours until we got served. Then the waiter / owner insulted a customer and there was a huge and loud discussion in the restaurant. We went to this restaurant spontaneously after a visit to Lucerne. The food was great! The service was friendly. Very clean restaurant with a harmonious atmosphere. Next time I would not take the small children with me and treat myself to a nice, quiet evening, as the waiting time was challenging with small children. Top food, top service, top location.

Weak, on all levels, from telephone service, to "rodisio", which was the only dish available, and which should not be called rodisio when they only serve chicken, sausage and picanha. In terms of price, it is a steal what you pay for the quantity served, 65fr per person, and even the pineapple is paid separately!! First and last time, I don't recommend it.

Always a pleasure to eat there :) We were there last weekend and waited a bit for a long time before the food started. The types of meat, the cooking times, the quality, the love for the place, everything is just great. The food was super tasty. For the feijoada and the bananas and rice, I would recommend putting rechaud on the table. Then it wouldn't get cool so quickly. Otherwise you can't complain about anything. The service is great. The price could be a little cheaper for women, as they often don't eat more than 5-10 pieces of meat. We will be back ;)

Lost faith on Google reviews after seeing that this place has 4.6 rating. I AM Brazilian and I feel embarrassed that a place like this call itself a churrascaria. Bear with me... Got there and was sent to a table. There was 1 guy walking with a piece of meat in the (25-30m2) restaurant. He would serve one table, go back to the kitchen, one more table, back to the kitchen. No idea why. You would imagine that everything was calm but NO, everything looks chaotic (Brazilians will think "oh, well... churrascarias are always chaotic". No mate, not good Brazilian chaos... Real chaos like they were expecting 2 people for dinner and 100 showed up). Anyways, sat down and waited.... and waited... and waited. After 15 minutes we decided to leave. I guess the waiter saw us putting the masks on and getting up because out of nowhere he comes half running to ask what we want to drink. No menu, nothing. "A beer" (I guess? Absolute no idea of what they even have). The beers came quite quickly and were thrown on the table before the waiter ran somewhere else. It had been almost 30min since we arrived, the guy with the meat had not even served half of the tables. We finished our beers and decided to leave as we had not been able to order or get anything from the "rodizio" (anyone that has ever been to a Brazilian bbq knows that by then we would at least have all the sides on the table and be eating meat). Tried to find the waiter to ask for the bill... nothing. So I decided to go to the counter and pay. As I was in a Brazilian restaurant I decided to speak Portuguese, I tried with 3 different people and NO ONE spoke Portuguese. Ok... the ladies called the waiter and after asking for the bill (in German this time) he started yelling at us saying it wasn't his fault, what could he do, that it was our fault. Like what?! Honestly, up to this point I wasn´t even angry, I even said myself a few times that I know it wasn´t anyone´s fault, that we were just hungry. But he has just so rude. In brief: If you want to get stressed, great place! If you want to have amazing food and good service: the Lebanese restaurant just a few metres down the road is amazing :)

Unfortunately no real "Rodisio", apparently because of Covid. I didn't quite understand it, we also had a buffet in the hotel.... This meant that the selection and variants were very limited. Price far too high, a bit excessive, for a quite slimmed-down rodisio (CHF 60.--/pers). Otherwise okay.

Nous adorons les restaurants brésilien et celui-ci nous a beaucoup plu. Grand choix de viande avec excellence picahna. La caipirinha est délicieuse. Le serveur super sympa il nous a offert les cafés. Nous étions de passage pour 2 jours et vraiment pas de regret ce resto est au top. Les yeux fermés !
