MOzern Bar and Brasserie in Luzern

It’s actually crazy that this restaurant has a 3.9 star rating (as of March 29, 2024). The food is fantastic and fresh, and the service is great. Highly recommend!

30 minutes wait with no service. Restaurant is half empty?!?

Very disappointed I made a reservation been waiting more then 20min no servant came They Ignore us...never go there Again!!!

The upscale brasserie from the renovated Palace Hotel with all day dining and a large selection of desserts à la carte. The cuisine is light and tasty, with successful Asian influences (e.g. a great hoisin sauce for duck spring rolls). Very hospitable, we felt very comfortable.

Beautiful terrace on the quay, extensive selection of drinks, interesting signature cocktails (also non-alcoholic - recommendation: "Abendrot"). Prices in the upper segment - of course, you pay for the ambience and location. About our visit: 5 people, sunny evening shortly before 6 p.m., terrace (and indoor area) almost empty, several employees working outside, others inside. Reception and placement were friendly BUT… then the wait began. Almost 10 minutes until we received the card, another waiting time until we ordered, another 20 minutes until the drinks arrived at the table (1 non-alcoholic cocktail, otherwise tonics, tea etc., so nothing "mixed", which took more time takes) “Relaxed” service is nice, but that went on for far too long, especially when the location says “Deluxe/5-star” on the banner… Nevertheless, a recommendation for a cozy aperitif by the lake if you have the necessary patience/time.

Terrible experience. First the staff is extremely unfriendly. Then they do not have anyone assigned to tables for service. My husband asked for more oatmeal as the buffet was out and they came back with oat milk. We waited 15 mins to place an order for coffee. The table next to us placed the coffee order and no one came back. We finally got a hold of a manager in a green jacket and she got all the tables on our side of the restaurant taken care of. It truly is a shame because the other restaurants in the hotel truly do have 5 star quality service. The hotel service is also 5 star but this restaurant is not.

MOzern is part of the Oriental Mandarin Palace Hotel. Great service at a posh spot on the side of lake Lucerne. They serve a limited menu with tasty options throughout the day. Prices are on the high side. Recommended 👍🏻👍🏻

Almost everything run of the mill or much less. So disappointed in such a beautiful place. There is an enormous amount that needs to be corrected in terms of the restaurant's performance. Several killer factors from the kitchen + staff. Urgent!!!!

Went for Afternoon Tea and everything was superb. Please add to your must visit list. Excellent for friends, family, social occasions and casual lunch, brunch or tea.
