Wir genossen die Aussicht bei einer tollen Gastgeberin, die alles macht von der Küche bis auf den Tisch. Nach einem strengen Aufstieg schmeckt das Essen vorzüglich, und läht zum verweilen ein, auf der Terrasse.

Very nice cosy hotel with wooden interiors typically like a swiss chalet. Less than a km away from Zermat train station, Sunegga station and from the train station that takes you to Gornergrat. Breakfast served was of sufficient variety given how expensive Zermatt is. Since it's in the town center so lots of choices of restaurants near by. Frontdesk is Excellent.

He estado aquí para cenar un par de veces este invierno. Probamos diferentes platos del pequeño, pero muy buen menú. Realmente maravillosa comida, hecha con atención al detalle. Ingredientes tradicionales y sencillos, preparados con un toque moderno e internacional. A pesar de que el menú es bastante pequeño, algunos platos se cambian con bastante frecuencia, lo que hace que el menú se sienta "más grande". Mezcla de ambiente acogedor, fresco, deportivo y relajado. Fácil y acogedor solo para una buena comida y una charla.

Schöne Auswahl an Tapas. Wir hatten frittierte ganze Minicalamares, total fein. Kaninchen an einer tollen (Tomaten?) Sauce, gerne etwas heisser serviert. Kleine grüne Peperoni, gibt es die auch in rot? Kroketten nach Art des Hauses. Einen gemischten Salat, leckere Sauce und reichlich Brot. Den Hauswein konnten wir erst probieren, weil mir Spanische Weine oft zu trocken sind, sehr aufmerksam; wir haben einen halben Liter davon bestellt. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, fairerweise muss man sagen es gab wenig Gäste an dem Abend. Preise fair. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und es hat uns gut geschmeckt, sehr authentische Küche, ruhige Lage am Waldrand, bei gutem warmem Wetter mit Gartensitzplatz. Gerne wieder!

This is one of the restaurants that are described in the Swiss book with the funny title 'Cervelat und Tafelspitz' – kind of hidden gems. The nice owner and a friendly staff provide cordial atmosphere. No reaching for the stars, but good and generous dishes with honest and fresh products. Enjoy the quiet garden if you have the weather gods on your side. This is rural charm in a positive sense.

Cet artisan boulanger ( qui tient en même temps le Denner local) propose un vaste choix de pains aux goûts variés. Le pain dit "de Juriens" est un vrai régal par exemple. Belle offre de viennoiseries et de pièces à la crème.

Three floors stuffed with books and on the fourth, a friendly bright spot to enjoy an excellent cup of coffee, a sandwich or some pies or pastries - that about sums up the café at the University library in Basel. The prices are hard to beat at 2 francs for a fresh cup of coffee and a trifling 2.50 for a well-sized and nicely frothy cappuccino. During lunch hours (from about 11:30 to 2:00), there's also a small but very appetising salad bar with fresh bread (inclusive), a soup of the day and both a vegetarian and a non-vegetarian hot meal.And, thanks to being surrounded by windows, you benefit from a wide view and every last ray of the sun.
