Absolute top restaurant! From the table to the food and the service was great! The young, brisk service was very personable and friendly! We will be going back to Stein am Rhein just to eat at Restaurant Adler.
Rue Adrien-Lachenal 15, 1207 Genève, Switzerland, Genve
I've been brunching there regularly for a long time. Over the months and years, it deteriorated significantly. The menu has been reduced and has great difficulty reinventing itself.
Fortunately the staff remains as friendly and welcoming as ever.
Before it was 4/5 stars but now it's a 3 (being generous). I hope they will recover because it's really a shame.
Staff is unfriendly. Especially when I don't have any cash, I'm disrespectfully asked to go to an ATM, EVEN THOUGH it has a card reader! In addition, meat is sometimes saved.
The only plus point is that it is open on Sundays.
Disrespectful and unprofessional staff. You order 2 items and not 259, they still manage to make a mistake and then deny the facts and not even able to apologize. You eat there and at the time of payment they manage to steal 10.- more than what you ordered and this amount does not even correspond to one of their items to date except for the kebap sandwich in 2018. Several errors in their part and not a commercial gesture. Never at their place again despite several attempts thinking that things would change!
As far as the stars go, the main thing is the service.
It's unfortunate when you come in and feel like you're not welcome. Gods know what function the guy at the counter has. Wishing you good evening in the void is not possible, let alone when you go home. Food very greasy. It's a shame that more effort isn't being made these days. We look forward to seeing you is not included in the reservation confirmation...
I've never experienced anything like that, where you have to wait over 45 minutes to be served. In the end, I still went to ask if they could serve me. There were just over 6 people there.
