In a prominent location, right on the lake, very original decor and ambience, I consider the food to be rather average as is the service. It is advisable to take at least one starter as the dishes are relatively small portions. Priced in the middle bar. Conclusion: You definitely get the ambience here.

The chocolate is very good, dense and very rich. The place is a little small but the atmosphere is pleasant.

Friendly hosts/employees! Ordered for an energize juice & specifically Requested for No Ice ...as I'm recovering from a cold. And of course they didn't do that. Instead she made me wait for her to finish another order. . . while the drink still with ice And then she poured it back into the machine and re pours it to the cup. . . Not Professional Nor smart. Then one ice was remaining and she took her hand and took it out. Hmmmm - she uses the register with the same hand and handles money...etc. Granted she was wearing gloves 🧤, it just didn't seem Very appropriate to do that! Instead she could have 1st used a spoon... Very Easy and would be more efficient...but instead she did that. The juice is still somewhat cold. But I didn't want to stir trouble because as a customer I could have easily "demanded" another fresh juice to be made. Because of the first reason and second because of hygiene issues. I even tipped over the transaction! 😏 Not such a pleasant experience.

Nice, friendly and fast waitress. The boss could be a little nicer! Very well prepared mushroom puff pastry, tasty but lukewarm. Perch meunière fillets lukewarm and full of tasteless water.

Social security is not safe for girls!! ID control worse than customs. Changing room required. Rude staff. No free water at the bar. Kind of company that just wants to make money Once not twice

Simply great service, kitchen highly recommended. A trip to Aarberg is worth it. To visit the beautiful patrician town and then let yourself be pampered from the kitchen and cellar at the Hotel/Restaurant Krone in Aarberg.

I had a chocolate cake for a birthday. The cake was very good. In the photos, the 2 holes in the cake were made for candles.

Enjoyed our tea break here. Friendly staff who can speak English fluently. Hot choco was really delicious paired with very decadent cake infused with tea flavours. Con: Cup was a lil messy.
