The food was barely edible. We had “fried noodles with vegetables,” where the noodles were neither fried nor Asian noodles and the vegetables were undercooked, frozen vegetables. My companion had Chicken Sweet & Sour and unfortunately didn't like it either. The food was bland and not tasty but the ambience was the worst. Dirty tables, plastic cutlery and dirty plates just stood there. Full open garbage bins for leftover food next to the tables. The sauces to take yourself from buckets, attached to a string, have probably been there for several days. Everything seemed dirty and unhygienic.
We are different people who come to sit on the terrace with a locked door in the refreshment bar and the mr who vacuums at 5 p.m. while on the site it is noted as closed at 6 p.m. Mr. is in the refreshment bar and sees us all but wouldn't come and tell us "sorry his farm sooner, etc."
On Saturday evening, after a long time, we ordered two pizzas from Pine again. Rösti and Griglia. The pizzas were very tasty and topped with fresh ingredients. The dough was perfect. Despite the big event in Liestal, the pizzas were delivered within 30 minutes. We will order from Pine again.
I have always found their pizzas very good. And I took them to go. One evening I decide to eat there. Surprised when paying the bill. A line appears for water even though we did not order any. I look on the drinks menu where there is a small note on water with an asterisk at the bottom of the page which indicates that if you do not take water you will be charged for it. We didn't want to drink so no one opened that card. I told one of the servers, never smiling and not understanding, that we were not aware of this and that he could have mentioned it when ordering and he told me that "he can't do anything, it has always worked like this." That". To rip off the customer? Extremely disappointed, I will never set foot in this pizzeria again
Great children's playground with lots of equipment, barbecue areas, water, toilet and a very beautiful and dreamy forest all around. It also has a small restaurant

Waited more than 10 minutes at the bar even though there was no one there. I left without a drink. Bad service, it's nice to chat with people you know. But we should serve others too... in 16 years of dating, because of a waitress, my grade will be bad. sorry for you

That's not a pizza.
Food: The pizza must have been made by someone who was given the step by step instructions over a bad phone connection. A pancake flat piece of bread with what I can only assume is tomato infused olive oil in place of tomato sauce and then a mountain of cheese and four olives casually dumped on it. We didn't eat it - just a single bite that confirms that it indeed just wasn't visually appalling. The only explanation must be that the staff has a running wager on how awful they can make it and then bet on whether or not the customer complains and sends it back. We didn't complain until we were asked how the meal was: It's not a pizza and it's no good, we answered. Not having touched it at all should have prompted some sort of discount but it didn't. But at least it was very expensive and congrats to whoever won the bet.
Also, thai food is more than just curry. But ordering something called "thai spaghetti" should have been warning enough. What a peculiar mix.
The fondue was fondue but not having had it before I don't know if it was actually fondue or just melted cheese made from a recipe found on a xeroxed fax that was printed by a machine low on toner.
Sweet little restaurant run by an old Japanese couple.
The owners and support staff are extremely nice and the service is efficient and uncomplicated.
The food is authentically Japanese and tastes incredibly good.
My favorites are:
Takoyaki - starter - very aromatic and with the fun bonito flakes like in Japan.
Gyoza - appetizer - great all-rounder starter when you're not sure what you like. Always a good option.
Katsu don - Main course - Served with a small soup it is a great option, the meat is very tender and creamy.
Oyako don - main course - my absolute favorite! Chicken, egg, rice and lots of vegetables and spices. Just great.
Gyu don - main course - Also very great, for me just behind the Oyako don. But you have to like ginger.
The restaurant is very, very large and there is also a large terrace. Unfortunately, the furnishings and furnishings from the 1970s are quite outdated.
First of all, the staff! Always very customer oriented and very friendly.
The new menu is appetizing and particular attention is paid to the quality of the products and presentation. We have fun in all cases.
Wine list which allowed me to discover gourmet wines and grape varieties!
