I have no idea about Eritrea, Ethiopia, Somalia and all the surrounding countries, but the food seemed very authentic to me. We ate it with our hands, of course, you can also order cutlery. You empty the pot onto the flatbreads and then pick up the food with scraps of flatbread. The flatbreads are reminiscent of creppes. We later googled that you shouldn't lick your fingers and only use your right hand when eating. It was an experience and very good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you don't get anywhere with German, French will help.
Extrem teuer. Geh nicht dorthin.
Courteous, friendly host, just bring cash (no card payment).
Went here with three kids and enjoyed wonderfully delicious pizza. Dough & ambience like in Bella Italia.
We'll come back when we're in Stein am Rhein! =)
We had a Piedmont themed wine and dine. Great wines, a sparkling Alta Langa from the pinot grape, 36 months of yeast storage, finer than champagne, then Cortese and Arneis in white, then a Barbera d'Asti Superiore 2020 from Cascina Fontana, Barbaresco Riserva 2020, Barolo from the Torriglione location 2019 and to top it off the Barolo Riserva 2016 also from Mario Gagliasso. The wines are presented very competently by the winemaker Claudia (Fontana) with a dose of humor to accompany the fine food. Marco's menu is wonderful, the Piedmont cuisine is very innovatively redesigned with a touch of lightness. An example of the Brasato al Barolo, fine, delicate with a wonderful sauce and dancing lightness on the palate, a real pleasure. The menu price with wine and water at CHF 158 is more than fair.
I can warmly recommend such events at the National to connoisseurs. Many thanks to the boss Esther and the entire national team. A very big bravo!!
We had an event with over 80 people here. Everything went smoothly. Food, service and prices were top. Thanks to the whole team for the effort and professionalism!
We were there yesterday. Unfortunately, no one felt responsible for this room. We waited 20 minutes and after asking, still no one came. Two other guests simply ran away after asking three times to pay.
It's really such a shame that kind of thing.
The boss asked 2.5 Chf for a glass of tap water!!! When my husband protested she replied I will have to pay 5 francs because I gave you 2 glasses of tap water!! What a thief!!!! At this price we had to offer bottles of water ma’am!! In addition she is very rude and rude!!
Absolutely avoid
We were brought to the seat reserved for us very quickly and served quickly.
The food took a little longer to arrive but it was worth it.
We also had dessert at the end, which I can also recommend.
Staff friendly and atmosphere very calm and pleasant.
Price was okay.
I can happily recommend it.👍🏻
Disappointing. The salad is not fresh, (M-Budget package), the portions are small, and the prices are high... value for money, it is not worth it. It’s self-service, we have to clear our plates and yet there are enough staff. The bosses are unpleasant, no warm welcome. At the time, before they took over the bar, it was very different, we felt the serene atmosphere of the lower town.
I recommend the Port, 5 minutes walk from the swimming pool, the food is fresh, the staff are very friendly and the prices are the same.

Broken terminals..Not really “fast” during peak hours or even off-peak hours, there is “enormous potential for progression” here..too bad the management is not more square with the staff… (staff who qd they wear a mask and wear it under their noses..) in the end they complement each other well in mediocrity..
What about broadcasting a radio with ads promoting shopping tourism with a fairly high volume (at 1st) it's not crazy...
