Nach einem Stadtbummel freuten wir uns auf einen Apéro mit einer Kleinigkeit aus der Küche auf der wunderschönen Terrasse des Hotel Basel. GRATULATION, es macht einfach Freude in so einer gemütlichen Atmosphäre einzukehren. Tolle Terrasse, bis ins kleinste Detail liebevoll eingerichtet, das Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir kommen immer gerne und jetzt wieder öfters. UG

-First-time customer who had an awful experience yesterday evening-I ordered pad thai with prawns outside the restaurant, and had an extremely long wait for my food, that involved a few mistakes, too-Hygeine standards and COVID precautions were not fully being adhered to-The server seems to be happy to chat with people, but doesn't seem to be focusing enough on serving customers quickly, and making sure orders are correct-The server was wearing his mask under his chin, not covering his mouth and nose-No gloves were being worn by the server, nor was he regularly washing his hands, despite him handling in-parallel money, food, packaging for take-away, touching the till, handling receipts, going back-and-forth to the kitchen (the mask remained under his chin whilst he was in the kitchen)-The server lifted his cap, rubbed his hair, and carried on serving, without washing his hands, nor disinfecting the area right in front of him, where food was being handled-The first mistake with my order was they prepared the wrong meal, which then sat on the counter, and they later sold it to a late customer-The second mistake with my order was the server randomly said to me "pad thai with tofu?", so it seems they had no trace of what I had ordered, and this was after the wrong meal had been prepared, so was a long time after I had ordered (I realised they hadn't even started to prepare the right meal for me yet, despite so much time having already passed)-Another person received the wrong order whilst I was waiting, too-Both mistakes with my meal led to an extremely long wait for my food-I received no apology-Despite the unreasonable wait, the mistakes, the terrible customer service and the unhygeinic practice of touching hair and handling food and money without hand washing and disinfecting surfaces, I was charged full-price-When I opened the pad thai with prawns I had been given, the presentation was poor There were just 4 prawns in it, and some of the ingredients had not been mixed into the meal It looked like they were just randomly all piled on 1 side of the container (pic attached of the presentation, and the 4 prawns)

It is a good cafe for quick coffee, tiramisu, and Italian food, very handy with the hospital. Highly recommend

Very nice and authentic Italian restaurant right on the Rhine. The two of us ate here for the first time. Although it was very busy, the service was very experienced and friendly. The food was very tasty from starter to dessert. I can recommend it 100%.

We had dinner, fondue and raclette chat with the company in the winter village. Unfortunately, for the high price per person, the sliced ​​bread for fondue had probably been prepared for a long time, it was hard, we had to use the raclette oven ourselves because we had forgotten about it so that everyone could eat together. What was also very difficult for me as an Astmahtiger, as the restaurant gradually filled up, you noticed that the ventilation was more of an illusion than it was, which soon forced me to go out the door. Unfortunately, after realizing that it was only getting worse, I decided to leave after half a fondue (since I could hardly breathe) and satisfy my still existing hunger with a pizza on the way home.
