Great location, nice rooms, super nice staff. If the weather is bad you can play billiards or go to the sauna. Good hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. We'd love to come back.

We visited here as part of a 26-person group on a train tour of Switzerland. The hotel is beautifully situated only 10 minutes walk from the station and is an older-style building, with chandeliers in the dining room, a slightly rickety lift and a well-appointed bar and lounge. Although we didn't have time to use it, I believe there is a large swimming pool. Breakfast had lots of choice and was tasty. Dinner was a group set menu so I can't really comment on what one might find in the wider menu. Our room was slightly old but still came equipped with a coffee machine. There is no room safe or 'fridge. We did have a small balcony overlooking the road, which was lovely. The bar / restaurant staff were very friendly and efficient, as was the lady on Reception. I would happily visit again.

Really bad. Only give reviews if it was really good or really bad. That was definitely the second one. 1. Terribly overpriced. Cheese slices 25CHF. Since there is no tap water available, we bought a bottle of water to take with us. 10 CHF for a PET bottle in your hand. Ketchup for the fries 2CHF... Food itself OK, but certainly nothing special. Car in front of the door so food delivery is certainly not a problem. 2. Quite unfriendly atmosphere. Service from the staff unfriendly. At the restaurant's playground it says that this is private, which is difficult with small children in the restaurant. A hate letter in the toilet regarding some guests who made a mess and only regular guests should use the toilet. Therefore of course only with a key View is great. Recommend everyone to take a snack with them and avoid the restaurant.

We arrived here after having to trudge through the rain arriving a little bit soaked. A bit annoying the lady sat us right next to the drafty door when there were loads of spare seats further back. However, she did eventually close the door for us. We were served by a very helpful and polite young man who helped us with the menu. We ordered the pizza and it was thin and crusty, just how it should be! I would have given this an excellent if it wasn't for being sat by the door when we were wet.

Well… friendliness, well, and I assume that the croissant wasn’t from today.
