BIG DISAPPOINTMENT IN THIS HOUSE!
We have been eating here as locals for over 18 years. It goes without saying that our tables always cost +1000 CHF or more for a meal. We have never eaten here with less than 6 people. Today, on our fourth brunch visit this year, one of our guests had to be admitted to the hospital the evening before. When we arrived at brunch, this was immediately communicated to the service staff. When we finished eating, the deputy restaurant manager came and told us that we had to pay for the 6th place because we hadn't canceled it. There appears to be a waiting list of over 50 people. The funny thing is that there weren't enough registrations to open Namun??!! They were asked about these circumstances and were immediately told that it would not be worth opening the Namun for just 50 people. We are deeply disappointed in the way we treat well-paying customers. At the same time we receive a voucher for an amount that we are now supposed to pay first. This will by far be the last time we visit the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz. Absolute no-go for such a hotel/restaurant. By the way, the payment process with the homemade circumstances took over 50 minutes. That was the peak.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is very good and plentiful. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and lots of space. We were there at night and had a nice view of the valley. During the day she will probably look beautiful.
I can only recommend it, we will definitely go to the Hotel Sonne in Amden again.
It is recommended to reserve by PHONE all week although we are only open on the weekend.... We do not have online or e-mail reservations. Greetings El Cid
Very good Dürrüm, large selection of pizzas, Lahmachun, etc. At lunchtime it can be very stressful if a lot of people go there... But otherwise nothing to complain about, it's worth visiting and it's affordable. Ambience is just not a dream concert.
We ordered 1x burger and 1x cheesefries which really isn't much and had to wait 2½ hours until the food came with about 5 extensions of 15 minutes to 1 hour. Absolutely miserable, something like that simply shouldn't exist, really BAD service.
Incompetent staff
When asked if we could eat something, the answer was "we are full". Meanwhile, a table pays and leaves. At the same time, another couple comes in and also asks for a table and gets the vacant table. I haven't seen anything so incompetent in a long time.
Nothing negative to say. Excellent breakfast with fresh products. Quiet place, and the receptionist very attentive and friendly. I recommend it to you.
