Die besten Restaurants in Ticino

I had lunch during the week, we reserved to be safe because the place is not huge. The place is very nice and in a pleasant area, in my opinion it could do with a little renovation. A huge menu with lots of choice for everyone. As a vegetarian I found many dishes, even something I had never found in the usual sushi. All really very good. Right portions. Fast and precise service. Swiss prices obviously, from Locarno as expected, you spend. However we had a very good time, I would go back.

Generous portions, extensive menu with a varied selection of hamburgers and interesting recommendations from the chef, we arrived without a reservation and they very kindly gave us a table in the middle of the room on the left side, the team was very friendly and always ready, a pleasant and jovial atmosphere with good music, very consistent with the place. It's a shame that today, September 9th, on a Saturday with a beautiful day, the restaurant/bar closed at 4 or 4.30 pm, furthermore they asked for the collection by credit card, which then accepted the cash when I refused. Shameful

We visited this grotto just out of curiosity. The food we tried was not very good - basic risotto. English was not well spoken, but we managed to order with limited italian and english mixed. However it felt like "why do you come here", can't say why. Maybe it was the language barrier. A tip to the waiter: if there is no common language, don't hide :) No ambiance really. In summer, you might have better seating outside. The place looks beautiful and there are possibilities to so much more, but seems the owners really don't want to do anything? Not sure. Potential is there. In summary: you get your belly full with ok food, it is not too pricey either, but this is not the place you come back for more.

We only ate the pizza but it was excellent. The menu also offers tempting foods... They are worth trying. Excellent service, friendly staff. Place to recommend.
