I understand the temptation of walking by this place and wanting to stop in. Unfortunatley, I fell for the cute atmosphere and views of the Matterhorn. This place is how you say pure awful in every language. The host was extremely rude to a server when she was speaking to us at our table (he interrupted her to correct her in front of our table) and then commented to us how dumb she was. We got two cocktails and spent 2 hours there because they did not approach us for 30 min after we finished and when we asked to pay, took another 30 min before finally coming back to our table. Walk 30 steps past this place in either direction and find a better bar. You are welcome.

Pretty terrace in the Mayens of Chamoson. Good and tasty food. Downside, too much waiting to give us the menu cards. The service was slow despite 8 people on the terrace. Ambient music with a great accordion player. Owner offered us a drink, thank you. To repeat the experience.

Since the work I haven't been back...well what can I say...the clientele has changed...no longer groups of hungry young people...and for good reason...nothing on the plates...roesty ...child portion...glayriade...tiny...and not very fragrant...apart from the very strong taste of the wine...etc..etc... Only our friend with his raclette at his discretion did quite well because there were few people and therefore...he was served...as it should be... On the other hand, raclettes from Fribourg...from Zurich??? Not enough valley here with different cheeses and different tastes??? Like gomser...turteman...convict...etc... Long live the cheese restaurant...typical Valais... And...I wouldn't go back!

Now this place is called "Les 2 Sages", recently taken over. Tasted a tartare with salad mixed with homemade sauce, delicious. With a touch of apple-pear vinegar, very pleasant 😊
