This restaurant is a family run place and I really loved it. The family is very friendly. The owner, who is also the chef really outdid himself, the food is amazing. The fish is fresh and the ingredients are of good quality. Perfect atmosphere for a date night!

This is an address without a false note, everything is friendly and friendly, the cuisine is delicious and varied, vegetarian too.
Never disappointed, always delighted, thank you very much.

good little restaurant, very friendly staff, it's also nice that the chef finalizes each dish at the table and explains what has just been served. we chose the 6-course menu at the price of CHF 165 per person. For me, all the starters were good, but it wasn't something I would eat again. both main courses were delicious, The fish with chorizo sauce was amazing and melts in your mouth just like the beef. the smoked butter bread was also delicious. Unfortunately the desserts were not at all to my taste. we had a good time in a good atmosphere, so I recommend you to visit this restaurant
Rue de la Dixence 45, 1950 Sion, Switzerland, Valais
The artisan bakery I visited offers excellent croissants, delicious pâtés en croute and remarkable quality bread.
The taste experience of their products is truly exceptional.
I come here every year in my vacation. Untill now it was always good. This year i was really dissapointed. Especially the service was bad! We waited more than an hour for our starter and where without wine for more than 1.5 hour. Unfriendly, no attention. Directly had to pay after dessert. Food was not bad but very small portions and very high price. I come never again after this experience.
Discovered the restaurant thanks to the very positive comments. It’s our turn to leave one. Restaurant in a small village behind a small square with a magnificent view. We clearly loved it! We didn't know about the winegrower's fondue and it's a guaranteed success, delicious and unlimited meat. Fast service, A restaurant to recommend for its view, the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the cuisine. This time we will come back to taste an Edelweiss fondue.
We enjoyed our "chasse" meal at the Café des Fontaines last October so much we were eager to eat there again but all the restaurants in Switzerland have been closed for a very long time due to the COVID-19 pandemic. So as soon as they were allowed to re-open we booked a table at the Café des Fontaines and two friends joined us.We chose the 79frs menu - starter of tartare of tuna which was absolutely perfect and came with a small salad, Tagliata de boeuf - sliced entrecôte with roquette and shavings of parmesan - which was very tender and lovely to look at (and to eat!) and for dessert there was an ardoise (slate) with small helpings of six different desserts with an espresso if you wanted one. The crème brûlée and the tiramisu were amazing. One of our friends who doesn't eat raw fish had the other starter on the menu - a tomato risotto. She said she would go there again and again just to have that! The service was perfect and we are looking forward to going back! Many thanks to Emilie and the chef and the entire team! Note that it is a small place (and was full as well) and with the current social distancing in force reservations are essential.
Unfortunately, we became ill on the Wednesday before our arrival on Sunday and wanted to cancel our stay or postpone it in exchange for a voucher. We were told that this would only be possible 10 days before arrival or with travel insurance against a doctor's note. So we started our stay sick anyway.
The Hotel Zurbriggen was not clean, many things, such as the floor glass in the hallway, were slightly broken. The light does not work everywhere. It had broken light bulbs that hadn't been replaced, etc. The whirlpool wall was yellowish dirty.
The spa area is rather sparse and not everything was accessible as described on the website. 2 whirlpools were completely closed.
The massages we booked were quite okay. Anyone who is used to luxury and 5 star hotels will not be happy in this hotel. The food was good, although the buffet is rather sparse. The breakfast, however, was very good. I would like to give the hotel a better rating, but unfortunately that is not possible.
The staff is nice, unfortunately the waiters didn't serve you very well, but rather very curtly and you didn't feel completely comfortable or taken very seriously. You had to pay 8 CHF per jug for water for dinner, not that it was branded water, but rather jugs that were specially filled. This is a rip off! Using the spa area after checking out costs 25 CHF per person, but I've paid less or nothing in better hotels.
Brilliant base for alpine and high alpine tours!
It couldn't be better: flexibility, equipment, hygiene, food, bar, boot room, storage room, transfer, central location, helpfulness, information platform between groups, mountain guides and innkeepers who are in the business: perfect
Also humorous, entertaining, patient! Thank you very much!
