I come here every year in my vacation. Untill now it was always good. This year i was really dissapointed. Especially the service was bad! We waited more than an hour for our starter and where without wine for more than 1.5 hour. Unfriendly, no attention. Directly had to pay after dessert. Food was not bad but very small portions and very high price. I come never again after this experience.

A delicate address with a breathtaking view of the mountains, divinely refined dishes (the filet mignon was excellent), literary service (one of the waiters is passionate about literature!) and Swiss alcohols that I discovered with pleasure (petite arvine and apricot).. Pure joy!

We enjoyed our "chasse" meal at the Café des Fontaines last October so much we were eager to eat there again but all the restaurants in Switzerland have been closed for a very long time due to the COVID-19 pandemic. So as soon as they were allowed to re-open we booked a table at the Café des Fontaines and two friends joined us.We chose the 79frs menu - starter of tartare of tuna which was absolutely perfect and came with a small salad, Tagliata de boeuf - sliced entrecôte with roquette and shavings of parmesan - which was very tender and lovely to look at (and to eat!) and for dessert there was an ardoise (slate) with small helpings of six different desserts with an espresso if you wanted one. The crème brûlée and the tiramisu were amazing. One of our friends who doesn't eat raw fish had the other starter on the menu - a tomato risotto. She said she would go there again and again just to have that!The service was perfect and we are looking forward to going back! Many thanks to Emilie and the chef and the entire team! Note that it is a small place (and was full as well) and with the current social distancing in force reservations are essential.

Brilliant base for alpine and high alpine tours! It couldn't be better: flexibility, equipment, hygiene, food, bar, boot room, storage room, transfer, central location, helpfulness, information platform between groups, mountain guides and innkeepers who are in the business: perfect Also humorous, entertaining, patient! Tucked away at the back of a small 'village' of hotels, the Alpenhof has a brilliant proprietor who really looks after his guests. Food and drink is excellent and reasonably priced but it's the hotels location that really makes it special. 5 minutes away are Grimsel Pass and Furka Pass, both of which give access to Susten Pass. Are there three better roads anywhere in the world? Incredible scenery, Iconic locations and, if you like driving, an amazing experience.

Beautiful place, very friendly and welcoming

Amazing Matterhorn views from both my room in the dining area. The hotel has a genuine very old school feel to it. It has a library seating area to gather with your friends and family for coffee, beer wine with a nice fireplace. I currently have my ski boots being heated on a custom boot heater rack. The hotel an easy entrance/exit to the street then you go skiing. The hotel has a great central location to town. The staff is on another level of professionalism and graciousness. my stay 3/15- 31.

Great location right on the ski slopes, family, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Furnished with great attention to detail. Mega delicious and beautifully prepared food & breakfast buffet. Thank you very much and see you next time. :)

We stayed at the Belmont last year and dined several times. Unfortunately the apartment was already taken this year. That's why we were only there to eat. The apartment and everything around it, including transfer to the parking lot and ski locker, are great. The apartment is beautifully furnished and well equipped. You immediately feel welcome and have a smile on your face. Of course the location and the view couldn't be better. In the restaurant, the food, service and ambience are great both at lunchtime and in the evening. The best cordon bleu I've eaten. For me, the Belmont is the best accommodation and the best restaurant in Saas Fee.

Small restaurant with a unique, vegetarian menu, always with very good products and absolutely delicious! It’s a restaurant we love to go to with my mother! The service is great, the waitresses are adorable and the atmosphere is very sweet and relaxed. I recommend you try this cute little restaurant! But don't forget to reserve your table!

Anyone who is thinking about grabbing something to eat at the Lauchernalpbahn valley station will probably look for a place opposite. But be careful, it's worth walking a few minutes towards the village because the Lonza restaurant is on the left. Every plate that comes to the table has a WOW effect. It looks exciting and fantastic. They are creations. And the taste: oh la la, hmmmm, delicious!! Would you like to try mine too? Finally, the service is friendly and always makes an effort to decorate the restaurant according to the season. In summary: only praise!
