Tucked away at the back of a small 'village' of hotels, the Alpenhof has a brilliant proprietor who really looks after his guests. Food and drink is excellent and reasonably priced but it's the hotels location that really makes it special. 5 minutes away are Grimsel Pass and Furka Pass, both of which give access to Susten Pass. Are there three better roads anywhere in the world? Incredible scenery, Iconic locations and, if you like driving, an amazing experience.

Amazing Matterhorn views from both my room in the dining area. The hotel has a genuine very old school feel to it. It has a library seating area to gather with your friends and family for coffee, beer wine with a nice fireplace. I currently have my ski boots being heated on a custom boot heater rack. The hotel an easy entrance/exit to the street then you go skiing. The hotel has a great central location to town. The staff is on another level of professionalism and graciousness. my stay 3/15- 31.

We stayed at the Belmont last year and dined several times. Unfortunately the apartment was already taken this year. That's why we were only there to eat. The apartment and everything around it, including transfer to the parking lot and ski locker, are great. The apartment is beautifully furnished and well equipped. You immediately feel welcome and have a smile on your face. Of course the location and the view couldn't be better. In the restaurant, the food, service and ambience are great both at lunchtime and in the evening. The best cordon bleu I've eaten. For me, the Belmont is the best accommodation and the best restaurant in Saas Fee.
