Unfortunately, during actual use it turned out that card payments were not accepted online despite the clear information. This discrepancy between the information provided and reality caused significant inconvenience as I was forced to look for alternative payment methods, which took time and effort. This experience was particularly frustrating because I relied on the reliability and accuracy of the information on the Internet. This type of misinformation undermines trust in the bakery and raises questions about the timeliness and accuracy of the information provided. There was a sign in the bakery indicating cash payment, but I feel this should be better signposted. In the 21st century, one can expect a city to be able to pay with electronic means of payment. In the future, it would be desirable for the Brandenberger Bakery to accurately update the information about the accepted payment methods and ensure that customers are spared such inconveniences. It is crucial that the information provided is accurate and reliable to ensure user trust and satisfaction. In summary, my experience was disappointing, mainly because of the discrepancy between the advertised and actual payment options. I hope that measures will be taken to avoid such problems in the future and improve communication with users.

A cozy country pub, in summer and autumn with a beautiful garden terrace under shady trees. The food, from pork chops to butchers and desserts, is really good and the prices are moderate. Unfortunately, the "Rösti" made from uncooked potatoes is not convincing; a real Rösti takes a little more time, but tastes worlds better!

21.03.2024 16:15 arrived to enjoy a lovely drink outside enjoying the sunshine, a couple of the staff members advised no food because the entire inside restaurant was booked out, but were getting nervous because no one had turned up, but they were fine for us to join others drinking outside then the head chef comes out shouting “NO WE’RE CLOSED, GO AWAY!” despite other customers present. Honestly a rude man that needs to go for some customer skills training.

Yes, we came as a group late at lunchtime. Guest room drafty and yet cold to the feet. The salad came and vinegar and oil were at the table. The dressing that was offered after about 10 minutes was a little late. This continued while we waited for the pizza of the day, it took a while... But it was really very good.

Waited 40 minutes for a salad starter even though the restaurant was almost empty. Main course arrived in 2 minutes. after starter. Unfortunately the food was only lukewarm. Service was unfriendly and inattentive. Unfortunately, the restaurant is no longer recommended for eating.

We came here several times already and whilst the decor is nice we were never truly impressed by the service. But this time around it's been absolutely disastrous. We waited a full 80 minutes to get the fondue we had ordered, without any starter or anything to keep us waiting. How hard is it to warm up 400g of cheese when the room is half empty and all other tables have been served? Completely chaotic organisation and barely any excuse. We'll never visit again. Thank you Fondue Chalet for spoiling a birthday night!
