Superb Grotto typical of the region. We went there by chance and were delighted both by the very good food (the kid cooked at low temperature was magnificent) and the very friendly and warm meeting with the owners and their waitress. We will come back next time to enjoy the beautiful terrace

Very cozy hotel in Kandersteg with a beautiful view of the rocks. We spent our retreat here with a larger group and everything went wonderfully. The previous communication to organize the retreat was absolutely respectful and productive! During this time we were looked after really well and we always had a contact person who took the time to answer our questions/concerns. But the best thing: the house has a really adorable Büsi that absolutely enjoys all the attention from the guests :D

We were at Quai 2 in the afternoon on Easter Sunday and enjoyed an exceptionally good tarte flambée and a very nice small mixed salad. The service (even of Moroccan origin?) was extremely friendly, competent and very attentive. We would also like to mention that our two dogs were brought water in the dog bowl without any problems. We really appreciate that. If we are in this area again, a visit is guaranteed. thank you very much

The hotel is very pretty, the typical mountain hotel. The rooms are simply furnished but very clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet is not very big but you get everything you need to fill you up, especially in very fresh quality. We ate in the restaurant twice. The food was excellent both times! On the first evening the service was also very nice and attentive! On the second evening we were served by a slightly older lady and we felt really uncomfortable and even unwanted. At first we were greeted very dryly and seated, then we were told that we had ordered a starter for two. It wasn't about saving money, but I had a bit of a stomach problem and didn't want to eat too much. Plates were brought to us, cleaned up and wine was poured with an iron expression. We tried not to take it personally, but we still decided on a different restaurant the next evening. A day later, when checking out, there was a sign at the reception that said if there was no one at the reception, you should look in the restaurant or on the terrace. We went to the restaurant where the same lady was. She looked at my daughter and me and just left me standing there without saying “good morning” or “do you need anything?” We were simply ignored until I asked where I could hand over the key card! Then she called the receptionist. It's just a shame. That left a very unpleasant impression. Nevertheless, we are happy to recommend the Hotel Restaurant Wynegg 👍

Great, everything. Great location. Magnificent park. Great service - attentive and friendly, even to families with kids. Hotel has a lot to offer with its own farms etc.

We spent Easter here. A beautiful hotel. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Large bathrooms. You can park for free and the train is nearby. She goes directly to St. Gallen. The breakfast is wonderful and the operators are friendly. Dogs are welcome and there is a park right behind the hotel. E charging station is also available. We will come back and highly recommend this hotel.
