Cozy little hotel in a prime location, just a 2-minute walk from the train station. Very easy check-in and check-out. Unfortunately I have to make small deductions because there was some mold on the window in the bathroom. But all in all it was a comfortable stay. I'd love to come back.

Were there for the first time last Sunday and we were very positively surprised. Everything was perfect, the ambience, the food and the service. I had the stroganof and my friend had the papa bear, both were very nicely prepared and super tasty👍!! The service was also very friendly and attentive👍!! We'd love to come back😊.

Would be a great place when the weather is nice. I would give 5 stars. Stars are deducted because the city of Zurich has not been able to finally upgrade this place accordingly for years. Unfortunately the prices are way too high and the opening times are poor. The service is friendly but constantly stressful. It is self-service so there is a deduction for service. I understand that it has to be profitable, but what is the city of Zurich wasting billions of taxpayers' money on? To renovate streets and parking lots and to make visually unnecessary improvements and construction sites everywhere and to create such eyesores and glass-concrete deserts and ugliness like a Europaallee out of the ground. They can do that, the money is buttered into it, but subsidies to set up a decent, cozy coffee shop on Stadelhoferplatz that is open at least until 11 p.m. in the summer, no, this city government can't do that, it has a sense of luxury, money, Greed and endless construction sites, construction sites until you go crazy, but none for comfort and quality of life. And something like this city wants to have the second highest quality of life in the world? Really? Hard to believe.

Yesterday I would have liked to drink a fine espresso on the terrace of the house on my hike along the Limmat, as I have been doing for years. Without a certificate, I wasn't even allowed outside on the terrace. I thought that the outdoor areas of the restaurants were freely accessible? Especially since the take away downstairs wasn't open. The Two Ravens seem to write their own Corona rules.

Das Brot ist nach wie vor sehr lecker. Unser Fondue war leider klumpig und die Portionen sind recht klein. Die Bedienung war unfreundlich und der Preis für das gebotene viel zu hoch. Letzten Winter waren wir 3 ümal sehr zufrieden . Nun haben wir jedoch keine Lust mehr auf dieses Fonduchalet. Wir schauen uns nach etwas Besserem um.

My friends and I took a break here after an afternoon of walking. First, the views were amazing. The service was great and the menu was reasonable. Despite being February it was very warm so we sat outside. We had coffee which was good even by my standards and cheesecake which wasn't too sweet.Its definitely worth stop!

Besuchte das Dallas da ich mir Reka-Checks bezahlen konnte. Das Ganze Lokal ist in die Jahre gekommen wie die Wirtsleute. Die Speisen sind gutbürgerlich aber nicht umwerfend in der Qualität. Deshalb war wohl das Lokal an einem Freitag über Mittag leer!

We came here several times already and whilst the decor is nice we were never truly impressed by the service. But this time around it's been absolutely disastrous. We waited a full 80 minutes to get the fondue we had ordered, without any starter or anything to keep us waiting. How hard is it to warm up 400g of cheese when the room is half empty and all other tables have been served? Completely chaotic organisation and barely any excuse. We'll never visit again. Thank you Fondue Chalet for spoiling a birthday night!

Personal ohne Masken, was von Gästen beim Eingang zu Recht gefordert wird. Essen wurde ohne Schutz serviert. Geht aktuell gar nicht!

Die heutige Mittagessen im Restaurant Aemtlerstuebli in Affoltern war an Überraschungen nicht zu übertreffen!1. Die als Tagessuppe deklarierte Suppe war eine "Päcklein-Suppe" mit heissem Wasser aufgegossen, kostete auch nur CHF 8.50. Das Baquettebrot dazu war mindestens 24 - 48 h alt. 2. Für den Fitnessteller (Pouletbrust) ist er persönlich über die Strasse zum Denner gelaufen und war nach 17 min zurück. War wenigstens ein gutes Zeichen, dass das Fleisch frisch sein musste. 3. Der Höhepunkt war jedoch, dass der Wirt ein Stück Poulet servierte und dabei noch das kleinste Stück wohl aus der Packung genommen hat. Salat gab es keinen, dafür jedoch Pommes im abgestandenen Öl zubereitet. 4. Obwohl wir den ausländischen Gerant bei der Bestellung darauf aufmerksam gemacht hatten, dass wir nur ca. 30 min fürs Essen zur Verfügung hatten, bevorzugte er mit dem Nachbartisch über die Asylpolitik in der Schweiz zu diskutieren. Fazit: Mich wird man hier definitiv nie mehr sehen!

Karig lunchbuffet t.o.v. andere van der Valk restaurants. Wel iets goedkoper, maar niet in verhouding. Niet van der Valk waardig!!
