Super friendly staff & very tasty ice cream

At Geissmatt you can enjoy a brilliant 4-course menu consisting of tuna tartare, spaghetti, steak and dessert. The atmosphere is very homely, the service is friendly and attentive. The menu costs CHF 69 per person, reservation is recommended. Really nice.

Had a very traditional German sounding dish ( Rindsbacken = Beef Cheeks) with Polenta. This turned out to be a heavenly dish. The sauce is decadent the White Polenta out of this world, the beef melts in your mouth and staff is friendly and attentive. There is nothing stuffy or snobbish in this place even though they could get away with it. Will definitely be going back.

This family hotel located at an altitude of almost 2000 m is a beautiful and romantic place for the most demanding skiers. Great gastronomy, top wellness with a large pool! I recommend!!

I traveled this road by car a half a dozen times! Nietzsche hiked this road, then a trail, by foot, according to John Kaag, in his “Hiking with Nietzsche”. It is spectacular, and adjacent to Arosa, Linzer hide, Flims, And Davos. This region is relatively unappreciated by Swiss tourists, because of the need for a car. Other than the popular Rail route, The Bernina express, the only access to this region, is by car.
