I spontaneously went out to dinner with my parents. Service: friendly, attentive, warm, simply top. Food sensationally good. The ambience is also great, especially the open kitchen that invites you to eat. Keep doing it👏☺️

The terrace is magnificent and very pleasant! I recommend having lunch in the sun or having a drink here.

We visited this grotto just out of curiosity. The food we tried was not very good - basic risotto. English was not well spoken, but we managed to order with limited italian and english mixed. However it felt like "why do you come here", can't say why. Maybe it was the language barrier. A tip to the waiter: if there is no common language, don't hide :) No ambiance really. In summer, you might have better seating outside. The place looks beautiful and there are possibilities to so much more, but seems the owners really don't want to do anything? Not sure. Potential is there. In summary: you get your belly full with ok food, it is not too pricey either, but this is not the place you come back for more.

Very good food and good value for money....I recommend the meat on a very tender slate and a melt-in-the-mouth gratin dauphinois. Everything is fresh. Warm staff and bosses. And your little care. I highly recommend to everyone.

Great cuisine, generous portions

Last visit in early March 2024. It's a small and cozy place. The staff overplays friendliness by responding almost only in Italian...but a little less in what matters: the facts. Dishes served with a certain strength, rosé not cold, sodas without ice or lemon... well, all these details which seem to have no value except for the restaurateur's wallet. We had to ask for the grated cheese for the pasta (in good taste it must be said) on two occasions to receive it when the plate reached its end. The Parma ham pizza only had tomato sauce and 4 slices of transparent ham 😬😬...of course super spread to give the sensation of covering the dough without much success, nor a little ruccola or other greenery if only to add a little joy to a flat pizza. For these dishes, usually good, it was overpriced and disappointing. Almost all their pastas are accompanied by cherry tomatoes...a little too present and which limits the variety. We left quite disappointed 😞

The pizza was perfectly baked, with a crispy edge and a wonderfully fresh tomato sauce. The ingredients were fresh and of the highest quality, which was evident in every bite. The staff was extremely courteous and attentive, which made my visit even more enjoyable. They were knowledgeable and were able to help me choose my pizza, which I really appreciated. As for the atmosphere, Pizzeria Vesuvio felt like I was in a piece of Italy. The rustic decor and lively atmosphere created an atmosphere that invited you to linger and enjoy. All in all, my visit to the Pizzeria Vesuvio was a real highlight. If you are looking for authentic Italian cuisine in a welcoming environment, then you should definitely visit this pizzeria.
