Magnificent surprise..the place is small to eat on site..we ate at the bar..without having to reserve.the charming and professional welcome..the incredibly delicious food...especially we didn't have high expectations regarding the simple concept...when I go back to Vevey for sure...I'll go back and eat there..
Rte de Bessoni 3, 1955 Chamoson, Switzerland, Valais
Wonderful restaurant with a varied menu. We had crepes, which were awesome, and a great local wine. The building is an old storage location for wine from the surrounding vineyards. The setting is stunning in a valley below 1000m cliffs and snow capped peaks.
Simply TOP!
They respond well to customer requests. The selection is large and the cakes and pastries are an absolute dream! The interpersonal aspect is just as good here. You feel familiar and comfortable, as you would expect from village life.
Thank you a million times for existing <3
We ordered mixed aperitif platters for 10 people and picked them up ourselves. The plates looked fantastic and our guests loved them! Everything was super fine and plentiful. The communication on the phone and in the shop when picking up was also super friendly and organized. Thank you! 😍
Ski holidays with culinary highlights
We once again spent our skiing holidays at the Hotel Laret in Samnaun-Laret. The family-run hotel also impressed in 2024 with its hospitality, tasteful modern rooms with a beautiful view of the valley, very fine food, selected wines, including those from the Bündner Machtum. We also really enjoyed the drink after skiing on the sun terrace in a quiet atmosphere.
The hotel shuttle bus or the local bus directly in front of the hotel took guests directly to the cable car to the impressive ski area.
Small and fine is very appropriate here. We would be happy to come back.
Ornella and Pasquale are on hand to welcome you and delight you with their delicacies. It's a small place with a few tables, which also does takeaway and delivery.
Pizzas with unusual ingredients of very high quality (their Parma ham is miles away from the industrial ham common in local pizzerias). Italian products also available for sale (porchetta, cold meats, mozzarella, condiments, etc.) as well as southern sweets (the little pastieras are worth the detour). During the holiday season, also homemade panettones and doves to order. We return there often with pleasure.
There are two big reasons why I love this restaurant/takeaway:
1.) The food is very, very tasty!
2.) The chicken is from Switzerland!
In addition, the owners are extremely friendly and the prices are fair.
Even though there are other restaurants in my area that are closer, I get on my bike and come to Maharani. 😊
P.S. Please stick to chicken from Switzerland and don't rely on the cheap or tortured meat from Brazil/Thailand like many others in the area! I appreciate that very much.
