We get lunch there at least 4 out of 5 days a week. Price/performance unbeatable. I love it :-)

Unwelcoming staff at the counter. Asking a question is as if too much a disturbance for them.

Very fine sandwiches and sweet pastries.

The staff is very warm and nice. Nothing is missing. Location directly at the Basel exhibition center. I only stayed one night at Morgestraich, it was ideal.

CHF 29 for 2 waaie (1/8 and not 1/4) which were nothing special and 1 flour soup (was good) is a demolition. In particular, that it would have cost 28.50. Doesn't sound like a lot, but I rounded it up. If you calculate over the 3 days, the seller made enough money.

Top restaurant...small but mighty...great beer.
