Food was great and served very quickly even though we were a group of 7 people. The ambience was great for YB fans, good for sports freaks, well for everyone else :D Service was organized and friendly, but not very attentive. You forgot to take some drink orders because you were “distracted”.

Winteregg restaurant is a perfect stopover when hiking to or from Mürren or enjoying the nearby piste. The restaurant offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, where we got some drinks and snack. The staff are welcoming and attentive, adding to the inviting atmosphere. Great stop when you're in need of a refreshment during your outdoor adventure.

I was there for the second time within 4 weeks. Once with a group (7 people) and now with two people. Ordered the 3-course evening menu both times for €43 and was pleasantly surprised twice. Very nicely prepared and largely convincing in terms of taste. Top price-performance ratio in a central location and very friendly service. I'll be back...

Recommended for those who want to stay at a good price. (Early March) I think this is the cheapest accommodation in Grindelwald. ・There is a bus from Grindelwald Station, but the last bus (around 20:00) is early, so in the worst case, it will take 21 minutes on foot. ・The toilet, shower, and washroom were shared and very clean. ・Some rooms have doors. Our room is not separated by a door, only a curtain. Although we trust Swiss people and tourists, our luggage is at risk of being stolen in the worst case scenario. There are four beds in one room, and in our case, the three of us used two rooms. Also, there are no electrical outlets in the room, so you will have to use a shared electrical outlet. ・It was like a buffet style with breakfast included. We stayed for 2 nights for about ¥8,200 per night.

We visited here as part of a 26-person group on a train tour of Switzerland. The hotel is beautifully situated only 10 minutes walk from the station and is an older-style building, with chandeliers in the dining room, a slightly rickety lift and a well-appointed bar and lounge. Although we didn't have time to use it, I believe there is a large swimming pool. Breakfast had lots of choice and was tasty. Dinner was a group set menu so I can't really comment on what one might find in the wider menu. Our room was slightly old but still came equipped with a coffee machine. There is no room safe or 'fridge. We did have a small balcony overlooking the road, which was lovely. The bar / restaurant staff were very friendly and efficient, as was the lady on Reception. I would happily visit again.

Durfte heute erleben, wie ein Mitarbeiter beim Aufstellen der Sonnenschirme eine kleine Maus erblickte. Sofort wurde der Sonnenschirm zurück gelassen und mit einem breiten Strahlen im Gesicht suchte er das Mäuschen. Dann trat er mit den Füssen nach dem Mäuschen, bis es tot war. Trotz den schockierten Blicken von Passant*innen zeigte er sich stolz über seine Tat. Ganz ehrlich: sucht euch neue Mitarbeiter oder falls du der Besitzer bist: denk mal über dein Handeln nach. Da verhunger ich lieber, als nur einen Schritt in die Pizzeria zu setzen…
