I traveled this road by car a half a dozen times! Nietzsche hiked this road, then a trail, by foot, according to John Kaag, in his “Hiking with Nietzsche”. It is spectacular, and adjacent to Arosa, Linzer hide, Flims, And Davos. This region is relatively unappreciated by Swiss tourists, because of the need for a car. Other than the popular Rail route, The Bernina express, the only access to this region, is by car.
The hotel is very pretty, the typical mountain hotel.
The rooms are simply furnished but very clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet is not very big but you get everything you need to fill you up, especially in very fresh quality.
We ate in the restaurant twice. The food was excellent both times! On the first evening the service was also very nice and attentive! On the second evening we were served by a slightly older lady and we felt really uncomfortable and even unwanted. At first we were greeted very dryly and seated, then we were told that we had ordered a starter for two. It wasn't about saving money, but I had a bit of a stomach problem and didn't want to eat too much. Plates were brought to us, cleaned up and wine was poured with an iron expression.
We tried not to take it personally, but we still decided on a different restaurant the next evening.
A day later, when checking out, there was a sign at the reception that said if there was no one at the reception, you should look in the restaurant or on the terrace. We went to the restaurant where the same lady was. She looked at my daughter and me and just left me standing there without saying “good morning” or “do you need anything?” We were simply ignored until I asked where I could hand over the key card! Then she called the receptionist. It's just a shame. That left a very unpleasant impression.
Nevertheless, we are happy to recommend the Hotel Restaurant Wynegg 👍
We were only at the bar, so I can't comment on the rooms.
But what I can say: We received a very friendly welcome. Local delicacies were served with the drinks we ordered. The service was also excellent.
We'd love to come back.

Amazing restaurant in St Moritz!
The place is cosy and the staff are so so nice!
Their concept is quite special too! They have some appetisers, perfect for sharing and then the main dish is Pasta. Everyday they offer something different, one meat option and a veggie one. We tried both and they were delicious.
Great wine selection as well and must try their tiramisu!
The food is fine, there's no question about it - but we were missing that certain something in all of the dishes that would elevate the food from "good" to "outstanding" (and I think you can expect more than just "good" given the prices quoted) . This applies to my taste, especially when it comes to seasoning (and just put a salt and pepper mill on the table! Salt and pepper in homeopathic doses for a larger group is simply tedious). But that's a matter of taste overall. As was the service, which was extremely attentive to us. So much so that at times it became a bit tiring that someone was constantly supplying something, stocking up, refilling, etc. (for example salt and pepper in homeopathic doses...). But if it were different, others would write that the service wasn't present enough...
If you want to eat boringly well in the best sense of the word and enjoy the full attention of the service, you are definitely in good hands here - the ambience is very nice and cozy.
For demanding palates. A cascade of refined and creative flavors, a real continuous enchantment. At Caminada you could not wish for anything more, the gastronomic result is beyond the fiercest expectations.
