My boyfriend and his family used to come and have brunch at the palafitte because we always found the setting and the food great. So I wanted to introduce the experience to two of my friends this Sunday. I admit that I left very disappointed, both in terms of the choice of food and the price… 95fr for a brunch with such a limited choice surprised me enormously. For an additional 10fr, we can have an incredible experience at the Montreux Palace for example with an extremely wide choice of dishes. I'm not in the habit of giving negative feedback or negative comments on Google but I don't think we'll come back and I don't think I'll recommend such an expensive brunch with such a poor choice around me.

Slow, chaotic and inattentive service. After ordering a coffee with vegetable milk because of severe lactose intolerance, then asking again when it was served if the coffee is with vegetable milk, my friend notices after a few sips that his coffee is made from cow's milk. Emergency return home to spend the entire afternoon in bed and having to cancel the entire planned weekend.

Very good meat, ok sauce. One of us asked for almond perch but got meunière. I was assured that the profiteroles were made with ice cream but that is not the case. These are industrial profiteroles with cream inside which were reheated a little hard because the choux pastry was dry and the cream inside was hot. When I pointed it out to the waitress she assured me that I was wrong and that it was vanilla ice cream. We find the same profiteroles at Migros... Alice cut with a single caramel ball for 2 vanillas and a very small dash of caramel sauce on top. Denmark cup with little chocolate.

The Blue Basin and its magnificent Yurt, brought from Mongolia. The setting is very warm, with decor that has a story, often very original. The manager and his sidekick went out of their way for us. The manager knows the producers of all the products on his menu, a guarantee of quality and regional provenance. The Boletus fondue is excellent, not to mention the sides! Don't waste time to go take a look. The Yurt will leave the plain, when it climbs to the mountain pasture, this spring!
