Great value! But the taste could be better. Interior is really well thought out and spacious.

It is worth a stop, very beautiful views, you can drink coffee, buy souvenirs of those areas.

After a difficult drive over the mountain pass in a storm it was such a great experience to be received with such a warm welcome by the staff at hotel Stella. They provided the comforts needed for a family and had the room ready with a crib for the baby. Their hospitality was just what we needed to wait out the storm and feel like we didn’t miss out on anything due to the weather. I would highly recommend staying here. Also WiFi is super fast. Something I need for video conferences.

INCREDIBLE experience, both in the restaurant and in the hotel!!! I have rarely eaten so well: the dishes were magnificent and delicious, the service was perfect. I slept very well, the room was quiet and comfortable. In all this perfection, the staff remains very warm and welcoming. I have nothing to complain about, and only want to go back.

… Incredibly beautiful place, surrounded by two small rivers. Traditional Ticino cuisine and the best risotto (with red wine) that I have ever tasted. But everything else I tried from my friends was also extremely tasty. The whole thing was offered and served by the extremely lovely and charming operator. Small American style take away restaurant. Delicious sandwiches (they are customizable) and with quality ingredients! The manager was very kind and available to guide choices. We will definitely be back, a must try if you are in Locarno.
