After a difficult drive over the mountain pass in a storm it was such a great experience to be received with such a warm welcome by the staff at hotel Stella. They provided the comforts needed for a family and had the room ready with a crib for the baby. Their hospitality was just what we needed to wait out the storm and feel like we didn’t miss out on anything due to the weather. I would highly recommend staying here. Also WiFi is super fast. Something I need for video conferences.

… Incredibly beautiful place, surrounded by two small rivers. Traditional Ticino cuisine and the best risotto (with red wine) that I have ever tasted. But everything else I tried from my friends was also extremely tasty. The whole thing was offered and served by the extremely lovely and charming operator. An unforgettable dinner that we will definitely repeat. Thank you 👏👏👏

INCREDIBLE experience, both in the restaurant and in the hotel!!! I have rarely eaten so well: the dishes were magnificent and delicious, the service was perfect. I slept very well, the room was quiet and comfortable. In all this perfection, the staff remains very warm and welcoming. I have nothing to complain about, and only want to go back.

It’s my favorite place now! The staff is so kind and the chef is superb and just the smell when you arrive is mouthwatering! The little wine cantina is so cute and their local wine is the best ! Have the local cheese as well and anything in the menu is absolutely to die for! I can highly recommend this place! And parking is easy to find in the little village

In Lugano for work, Amalo is the ideal place for a lunch break. Excellent Pinsa, friendly staff who know how to advise you well, pleasant environment with a beautiful view. I suggest everyone to try it!

Plenty of food and excellent drinks, I don't think there are other bars like this in Lugano
