Das Essen war schmackhaft und gut. Leider war das Fleisch im Burger etwas kalt aber geschmacklich war es super. Der Service war teilweise gut. Der Herr war sehr freundlich. Die Dame empfanden wir als eher abgestresst und genervt. Würden jedoch wieder dort essen gehen.

If I could give this restaurant a minus that would be it. I visited with my family had a coffee time there. The service was really poor, the waitresses were unfriendly and rude. They gave us wrong meal and no apologies were offered. Took really long time until they changed it. The fondue was not ok, other places have done it better. The worst service I ever received in a restaurant!!!

Top place for bikers. Wonderful food, wonderful terrace, very friendly service. We'd love to come back there. Bravo.

Sitting in the Orangerie transports you inside an extremely well-preserved wooden sailboat. Their varied and complete drinks menu surprised me a lot. The house musician has an extensive playlist for all tastes, you don't want to leave the room! Atmosphere 100/100.

Food was delicious and a chill local atmosphere. Took a little while for the food to arrive or we were too hungry haha either way well priced and good tasting food.

Better restaurant with some choice

I booked a table for 2 with 4 days in advance. When we arrived we found out that our table was a very small setup crammed with other people in a small room upstairs far away from the empty rooms in the rest of the restaurant. It was 18.30 hr so not many people about. There was no reserved sign on the table, whilst we were surrounded with lots of different other tables with the writing reserved and the guest name on it (mostly German sounding names). Our table did not have a reserved sign on and we were given a walk-in table instead. Another couple got sat on a bigger and better table and got served straight away, they also had a reserved sign on it. We were left waiting and got served afterwards. They were locals speaking German. We were crammed in one side of the restaurant with other people all coming from abroad. We were from Ticino with Italian and English heritage. We felt discriminated, treated differently. Very sad to see that there is so much difference in treatment between locals and tourists. I would be extremely curious to understand where their biggest return is from a business point of view?! Also, cutlery and glassware were dirty. Our chips burned. The waiters’ manners not up to scratch and considering the very steep prices, this should be a must. The Verdi Restaurant is a much better option for the same prices. Not impressed. Most likely a tourist trap.

We were able to enjoy a wonderful, enjoyable evening in a great feel-good atmosphere at Schönbühl! Enjoyment for all the senses, that's all you can say. The staff is absolutely charming and accommodating. The food was simply heavenly! Lovingly prepared, original and fresh dishes, wonderfully refined; a treat for the palate. Likewise the drinks. The location is fantastic! Thanks to the slightly elevated and set back location, there is a truly enchanting view of the lake and the mountains and yet still completely quiet. You can't hear anything from the main road by the lake below. The garden invites you to linger in summer. We are happy and already. We are thrilled and will be back!
