The Bohrerhof restaurant is characterized by first-class food and excellent service. The asparagus starter was freshly and deliciously prepared, while the main course was a delight with juicy saddle of lamb and potatoes. The dessert was a real highlight and rounded off the meal with its exquisite presentation and delicious flavors. A special thank you goes to the outstanding staff, especially Katia, who made our day special, and the talented chef Markus Burger, whose culinary creations exceeded our expectations. Overall, a brilliant gastronomic experience that we would happily repeat.

We spontaneously decided to go out for dinner today, instead of standing in the kitchen yourself. But where should we go? We didn't want to venture into something unknown. The decision was quickly made, we got in the car and didn't drive to St. Gallen. :O) We drove to Muttenz to the Schlüssel restaurant, to Rita and Paul, because there is always something delicious to eat. Whether meat birds or fake snails, the food there always tastes great! To put it in modern style, Paul's food is just AWESOME! Rita will serve you personably and attentively down to the last detail, which is just AWESOME! You're doing great, all the best from the bottom of my heart! Sandra & Silvan

Das Restaurant Bad ist kein Restaurant mit otto normalverbraucher Kost. Es ist kreativ, imme anders und überraschend. Sie gehen individuell auf Wünsche ein. Das Essen war gut und immer neue Ideen. Während man beim Otto Normalverbraucher Restaurant jahrein jahraus dasselbe bekommt - macht das Restaurant Bad eine Ausnahme. Wir haben Geburtstage, Beerdigungen und vieles andere gefeiert.

Top welcome, warm and skilful service. What the kitchen delivers is top class. There were four of us, our first time at the Gasthaus Bad Eptingen and we enjoyed it. Even though the restaurant was fully booked, we had the feeling that they only cared about us. A perfect evening, the staff throughout the house know their craft and are real hosts.

Very friendly service and we were assigned a great table. There was a bag of bread on the table and two different small wrapped butters on a small plate. There was no butter knife. At this price range we missed a greeting from the kitchen. For the aperitif we have a glass of Chablis for CHF 13.00 each. Starters: Salade verte at 11:00 without any garnish, served in a small bowl, fresh and excellent salad dressing and a slice of fried foie gras at 20:00, carelessly garnished with two dollops of sauce and a piece of brioche, was good. Main courses: 150 g entrecôte at 39.00, served with Café de Paris and vegetables and thin fries. The vegetables consisted of a floret of broccoli and half a completely overcooked baby carrot. The set was completely missing. Entrecôte cru 250 g at 89.00, also with the same side dishes. The difference between the two pieces of meat is minimal and with the cru you still have to cut away about 50 g of fat. A glass of red wine each (small selection of open red wines) at 7 p.m. each! Dessert: 1 time of creme brulée at 3 p.m., about 3 tablespoons, was good, but not special, 1 time of poire “belle Helene” at 2 p.m. came in a coupe glass with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, half a cooked pear cut into pieces, chocolate sauce and two dollops of whipped cream. This dessert also came out of the cooler quickly and ready (except for the cream from the can). The pear was so cold that you had to hold it in your mouth and the chocolate was so cold that you had to cut it off. Two wrapped sugars and two café creams came to the café on a small plate. Also on this plate is a wrapped biscuit. The total bill was CHF 281.00, which definitely does not correspond to the service. The idea of the brasserie is intended to appeal to a different clientele than before, but with these prices and quality, this concept will definitely not work. A pity!

I'm not an expert on Thai food but found it very good. The duck in particular was juicy, crispy... very tasty. The dishes have European spicy spices, but the chili peppers in the dish (soup) are spicy as hell! The colleague said it was close to the cuisine in Thailand. The price is reasonable for the size of the portions.
