The food is delicious. The place is small and usually crowded but cozy enough. You can take from focaccia to complete meal dishes. The wine is good. In general a good place.

The brunch in the Widnau bakery is a real highlight! The selection of mini dishes such as sandwiches, canapes and sweet pastries is unique, but the baked goods are also excellent and available in a large selection. The friendly and courteous staff ensures that the buffet is always replenished more than regularly and always serves guests with a smile on their faces. The price for the high quality is great - and frankly, I can neither understand nor understand all the negative reviews. The bakery brunch is just as good as it was at the old location when I was a teenager, except that the new location is much nicer, brighter, more open and more inviting and therefore offers more space than before. We were there today as a family. Ordered salad, penne with paprika sauce and Al Arabiata sauce. Everything tasted very good. The staff is incredibly great, warm and very accommodating. They offered my daughter some fries, gave her a biscuit and also smiled very sweetly and played with her. We can all heartily recommend the restaurant. We'll definitely come back at some point. :) Best regards to the lovely team, you're all doing a great job! ☺️ The only thing is that it is a bit too warm inside because of the food that is being prepared. The terrace area is also very comfortably decorated with fairy lights. Really highly recommended.

Today was the reopening and Good Friday..we ate the menu..everything was freshly cooked and very tasty..the service was professional and very friendly..the view over the lake is beautiful..foresight and a feeling like you were on vacation. .continued joy and success
