I had a 2-night stay at the experimental chalet, and how can I tell you that it was a great experience. Whether it's the hotel staff who take great care: the bar team who are exceptional, creative cocktails such as hot cold (a mulled wine iced version to die for), the reception always available 24/7, the team at the spa (the frozen bath experience is a must try) as well as the service at the restaurant where the food is very good and the portions are generous. I find nothing to complain about, we feel good, every detail has been carefully thought out which makes the aesthetic of the hotel very pleasant. The shuttles which circulate throughout Verbier. I would come back to try the Farm Club next time. Bravo to this charming establishment close to the cable cars and long life to the Experimental Chalet ❤️

Tried takeaway menu. Avocado hummus and Homemade Cannelloni Beef Tataki and Chicken Satay The food is delicious and the presentation is also wonderful even if it’s takeaway.

Huge and impressive dam with a height of 285 meters. It is the more massive dam with this height in the world. It was built between 1953 and 1961, and 6 million cubic meters of concrete were used to achieve the structure. The huge reservoir created is called "Lac de Dix" - Lake Dix, meaning ten in French. You can drive up to the base of the dam and park your car there. There is a cable car taking you up to the top where you can walk on the verge of the dam and admire the scenery. It's just stunning.

What an outstanding piece of earth. We felt very comfortable all around, and we would particularly like to highlight a very charming employee at the bar named Michelle. We celebrated a birthday and Michelle looked after us very courteously. Thank you Michelle! We can highly recommend the Hotel Julen and would be happy to come back!

This was the far best stay we ever had in our lives, and trust me we've stayed in well-know 5 star hotels all around the world. Let me start with the exceptional staff, from their greeting till end our journey they were so helpful, caring and attentive. I've never experienced a service this wonderful and felt care towards their customers. Not to mention they helped us with all our reservations, picked us up from the train station. Rooms are exceptional, beds are comfy and appealing to the eye. Before visiting, we weren't sure if the hotel design was what we were looking for, after entering our room, we realized that it has its own aura captivating the visitor. Something I can't really explain but need to be experienced. Might be considered as a small gesture but the bourbon in the room was exceptional and we had a glass or two every day after skiing. Made us relax even more and enjoy our time. Breakfast was fantastic, I was looking towards it everyday. My favorite was the avocado egg dish. Yet again, the staff was wonderful. Spa can get crowded but everyone is respectful and makes the experience smooth. Two sauna options with a stream room and an amazing hot tub looking at Matterhorn. Go as early as you can to see the mountain :) Location is fairly easy and in the middle of the city, you can walk to ski lifts and restaurants within 5-10 minutes. Being above everything else makes it a bit more special with an unforgettable view and calm good night sleep. Can't wait to go back. Hopefully Omnia will be our yearly stop. Thank you for this experience

Worth the long review since it’s the least I can do for the outstanding experience! Stayed at LeCrans in February 2024 half term ski week. Hands down one of THE best hotel experiences we have ever had. We are generally after hotels which balance size (i.e., exclusive, providing tailored and personal service) with amenities. LeCrans nails it on both fronts 1) First and foremost, the staff were outstanding. The highest level of attentiveness to every single detail, always at hand at any time of night or day. Super professional, smiling and friendly, meticulously attired and suited to the hilt. When we asked for our fireplace to be lit, we had someone at our door in barely two minutes clutching a pile of wood. When dropping us off at restaurants, the chauffeur would walk us to the restaurant, open the door and wait for us to be greeted by the host/ hostess before heading back. When getting picked up from the slopes after a day’s skiing, the eagle-eyed chauffeur would walk up the exit of the ski lift to carry our equipment down to the shuttle. We felt totally spoiled Surprised us with treats - not just any treats, but they had clearly observed our preferences during the trip which made it feel a lot more more personal and tailored - freshly baked biscuits, candies, bottle of bubbly, and board games for our 11 year old son. I have very rarely experienced this level of attentiveness, all delivered without being intrusive or overbearing Special shoutout to Steffan, Ryan, Rennan who ferried us every day and looked after our every need, concierge Giovanna who made sure we had all our restaurants pre-booked on the slopes and for dinner, and Jeremy who looked after our son at breakfast 2) We stayed in a Junior Suite. Beautiful decor with very high ceilings, tasteful wood panelling, and a fireplace. Panoramic view of the mountains. Large bathroom. Very well maintained with all the modern amenities 3) Having an on-site Michelin starred restaurant is generally a harbinger of the service you can expect at the hotel. Restaurant LeMontBlanc was an absolute treat, lovely wine selection, excellent service and food and a must do for at least 1-2 nights of the stay 4) The spa was amazing, far exceeded expectations given the boutique nature of the hotel. With only 13 rooms, despite being fully booked, there were no more than 2-3 people visible at the pool whenever we were there. Modern and very well maintained indoor pool and jacuzzi, outdoor heated pool with beautiful views, fully kitted out gym, and steam and sauna. The spa staff were lovely and quite a few available for spa treatments Of course, given the more secluded location, you can’t just stroll out to a bar or restaurant. But they make up for this with the prompt and accessible personal shuttle (pretty much everywhere is a 7-10 min drive). After a long day of skiing / Après ski, we were fine to head back to the hotel to freshen up before heading out to dinner via shuttle We would 100% stay again. If you’re looking for a super exclusive, high-quality, and pampered experience in a beautiful hotel and setting, this is the place to stay. Not cheap by any measure, but a holiday where you come away comforted that you got your money’s worth and a lasting memory

We had to book at Matthiol last minute as our other hotel had to cancel due to inclement weather conditions. From our first call to them to check if they had availability to our departure, they were extremely kind, helpful, and accommodating. Even though we booked the day of and had train delays due to weather, they still easily arranged for transport from the train station. Lucas and Laura have both been fabulous, as have all staff. We also mentioned as an aside when we were checking in that it was our honeymoon to share that we were even more grateful that they had availability last minute, and they quickly arranged beautiful towel swans and rose petals in our room the second day. The extra touches here are what make this place great. It’s impeccably clean, the breakfast is fantastic, and the fondue huts are super fun. I cannot recommend Matthiol Hotel enough!!!
