I only went there for its pasta because it was recommended by a friend of mine. Pasta is pasta so I wasn’t expecting much. But surprisingly, it was good and the pasta had a nice texture. The service was good and they were true Italians as they spoke the language to each other. It is also like a very small local store where they sell fruits and vegetables. All in all, a quick place to get good pasta in Oerlikon.
The one star is for the admission lady on Saturday evening March 23rd, 2024. I'm a tried and tested traveler in Zurich myself and am therefore used to a lot. How arrogant, bossy, unfriendly and aggressive the lady in question was could not be surpassed and I have never experienced it like that before. Anyone who, as a bouncer, contributes to the escalation instead of de-escalation of completely relaxed people simply because of their own underground demeanor has simply failed the job.
Note: neither I nor any of my friends were turned away, we all had the ribbon and otherwise had a great time. The incompetence at the entrance is worth mentioning in the most negative way.
Boring commercial music being played, but still a relatively nice place to go for pre-drinks. One of the male bartenders was just adding tips (10%) himself. Not good.
Vor dem Verkauf von Globus war dieses Restaurant und die Bar am Eingang eine sichere Bank, guter Kaffee, leckeres Essen von guter Qualität. Das ist heute leider nicht mehr so, vom Brot über den Salat bis zum Kaffee ist alles leider nicht mehr so gut. Wir haben aufgehört dort hinzugehen. Sehr schade eigentlich.

All in all it was good, great brunch - a bit strange was that they explained me when we arrived that I cant reserve for brunch allthough I had a confirmed online reservation. I did not understand why they argued about that with me at all. I was confused by that discussion. In the end it was no problem at all. But I did not understand why the service not just warmly welcomed us, when we had a valid reservation but instead argued about not doing reservations for brunch.
