Friendly service and the best vegetarian cuisine!

In fact, this unique inn is a real insider tip! It is a family business with its own farm, with lamb being the house delicacy. The chef cooks himself, while the boss takes loving care of the guests. The whole ambience suits a mountain inn that is located on the Zugerberg with a wonderful view of Lake Zug. The price-performance ratio is very good. The inn is highly recommended for a cozy and romantic dinner, but also for stopping off as part of an excursion or mountain hike. Families with children are particularly welcome there and are very welcome. It is rare to find an inn like this today. Since it is very popular, you should reserve in advance.

We celebrated my mother's 70th birthday at the Schiff restaurant. It was a wonderful celebration. Many thanks to Erich and the staff, you did a great job.

I came for breakfast on my birthday. Lorenza congratulated me and brought me treats. She was very nice and welcoming. The avocado toast was very tasty and beautiful, I liked the freshly squeezed juice. The music was calm and pleasant. Thank you very much🩷

Valais cheese slices, how happy I was. But ohh! Two dry toasts "without liquid" a little cheese two slices of tomatoes a lettuce leaf, voila. 25.50Fr.😟 never again.

It is an excursion restaurant on the Zugerberg that is completely overrun on weekends when the weather is nice. But on my several visits, I've always eaten well, sometimes with longer waiting times, but with this rush it's totally bearable - we have the day off and I've observed what the service employees have to do and endure and have every respect for these people and a big thank you for that . Everyone who writes and was satisfied should definitely read 100s of reviews.
