During my recent business trip to Zurich, I opted to stay at this hotel. Despite having communicated my need to continue working after check-out, I found myself in a predicament upon departure. Unfortunately, the option for a late check-out was not available. I proposed utilizing one of the hotel's business areas, such as a meeting room or conference room and expressed willingness to pay for this privilege. I was informed that all the business areas were fully booked and occupied. In an effort to secure a suitable space for an important meeting, lasting only 30 minutes and necessitating privacy due to the sensitive nature of the discussion, the only solution provided was to book a full-rate room, leaving me with no choice but to accept. Furthermore, upon receiving the keys to the room I checked out of, I discovered that cleaning had commenced. However, due to my re-check-in, I was provided with the room in the midst of the cleaning service, resulting in an incomplete setup. After my short online meeting, I checked out again and paid the FULL price for a night stay. Overall, the lack of flexibility leaves me disinclined to revisit this hotel in the future.

We stayed there as a family for one night. Absolutely recommended for a little break. Very friendly and competent staff, very good food, modern and comfortable furnishings and rooms. We'd love to come back!

I think the men doing the service are forced to work. The service was lacking and when I told the female staff what was missing, the meat got cold and we still couldn't get what was missing. terrible service.

Not exactly cheap, but: top location, nice staff with a great boss, solid cuisine and top wines. A bit busy on Sundays, perfect during the week. In Zurich you are milked much more for poor performance... drink angel beer! Tastes delicious. Update March 24: still good; perfectly fried char!

Easter Sunday 2024 had a great meal with the whole family (3 generations). For the first time I stayed with friends in this hotel where I found quality, courtesy and availability. The rooms are well looked after. Restaurant: breakfast and dinner with typical Engadine products. Courteous and helpful staff I recommend this hotel to friends and acquaintances

We travelled during the easter break. The hotel staff was very friendly, always welcomed us with a smile. Rooms were cozy and well kept. Great value !

Suddenly I wanted to eat pizza, so I stopped by. I was thankful that they tried to make room somehow because there were a lot of people with reservations. What was disappointing was that there was no English menu. However, as I was lost in choosing a menu, a regular sitting next to me recommended several items. Thanks to that, we talked about various things and received recommendations, and the margherita I had thanks to him was truly the best. The staff is so friendly that you want to make friends. On my solo trip, that couple left me with precious memories. Margherita is very good, staffs are very kind. This restaurant gave me a good memory of Basel. I came alone here but the couple next to me, recommend the menu and made me comfortable all time.

Beautiful restaurant located high above Lake Murten. The food was very good and the staff was attentive and very friendly. We would be happy to come back soon
