Die besten Restaurants in Frankreich

The ratings here are too low because they date back to the times of the previous landlord. I think that's a shame. I'm excited about today's team. Cozy but also stylish, focused on the essentials, very good food and a very nice team. I really enjoy going there on a regular basis. Or as one of my friends said "I haven't tried the whole menu yet". I'm also looking forward to summer outside in the garden.

Wir waren sehr früh... wurden trotzdem freundlich herein gebeten, bedient und es war lecker. Mit Blick in die Küche... gut gelaunt und die ganze Zeit am smilen. Fazit: gutes Essen in einem sehr angenehmen Ambiente.

I think it's good that you have the opportunity to eat here after you leave. However, I was surprised that I didn't receive any dressing for my kebab salad and no sauce for the kebab meat. Seriously had to ask for sauce. It's not normal that in a restaurant you are served a salad without salad dressing and in a kebab shop the meat is served without sauce. After I got this the food was somewhat ok but this incompetence was immediately noticeable.

Great food, great employees, very good team, especially the branch manager is a great guy, unfortunately I forgot his name but a very correct and very nice man. Also the best pizza I've ever eaten

Stunning location, delicious food and wonderful staff. From our first visit, everyone could not have been nicer or more accommodating. **Edit** I have since stayed at the hotel and wow were we impressed. The rooms are gorgeous and the evening menu is superb. I made lots of special requests as we were a large group from young children to their grandparents as well as allergies. All catered for and the wine was amazing. It was a genuinely wonderful experience and we are planning a repeat next year. To stay up the mountain is a true bucket list experience. Having read some reviews, I cannot help but wonder if the problems they faced, were more to do with the patrons themselves than the staff here. Honestly, the team have been nothing short of excellent. We first visited last year before moving to Villars, and Hotel du Lac quickly became a firm favourite for our whole family. The wine list is surprisingly good too! Highly recommended.

In KFC you get 3 times the price and it's even tastier

There is only one employee and they are often overwhelmed and that is normal. This wastes too much customer time...

So first the positive, the toilets are clean, the coffee is good and the dessert too. Now for the negative, the roast beef was a bit tasteless, the salad dressing from the tube and the fries still gave us a lot of fun 5 hours later, with noises coming from our throats. All in all, 300km driven for bad food.

Good pizza and wide choice of takeaway food

There were four of us there. Gave hot cocoa and cake. Very tasty and served quickly. Our service is very friendly. Addendum one year later (3/25/24) We would have liked a little more friendliness and attention: You come in with your family, you are seen and there is neither a greeting nor a friendly smile. You don't feel welcome. There wasn't much going on; A friendly greeting doesn't cost much 🤦🏻‍♂️
