The food was barely edible. We had “fried noodles with vegetables,” where the noodles were neither fried nor Asian noodles and the vegetables were undercooked, frozen vegetables. My companion had Chicken Sweet & Sour and unfortunately didn't like it either. The food was bland and not tasty but the ambience was the worst. Dirty tables, plastic cutlery and dirty plates just stood there. Full open garbage bins for leftover food next to the tables. The sauces to take yourself from buckets, attached to a string, have probably been there for several days. Everything seemed dirty and unhygienic.
On our "Jura-Cher" we like to stop in Les Rangier and have a coffee! The service is very nice and the restaurant is something special! Old military clothes, old banknotes and a canopy! Highly recommended for all kinds of occasions!
Great, friendly and uncomplicated service.
Very nice and courteous hospitality.
Great room with enough space for our group.
Food top.
Breakfast top, contrary to my expectations in such accommodation.
Unfortunately the location is somewhat unfavorable, remote.
Overall impression after our stay is very positive.
Kind regards and a big thank you to the Horneggli team.
An excellent hotel with great and friendly service and amazing view of the mountains! From our balcony we would be mesmerized at the mountain view with the Harder Kulm over tea!
It is at a great location - across from Steiningers cafe and a couple minutes from the Coop grocery store! There were awesome restaurants nearby as well! Our favorite was the Gelateria Crepino. If we ever visit Interlaken again, we'll definitely want to stay at Sonne!
The food tasted very good and the service was fine. However, the waiting time was around 30-40 minutes.
For 21 francs I ordered 4 pieces of wontons and 3 pieces of samosas, but everything was less than 100 grams in total. That's borderline a rip-off.
I would recommend ordering dishes with rice or noodles as you get something for your money.
We had a Piedmont themed wine and dine. Great wines, a sparkling Alta Langa from the pinot grape, 36 months of yeast storage, finer than champagne, then Cortese and Arneis in white, then a Barbera d'Asti Superiore 2020 from Cascina Fontana, Barbaresco Riserva 2020, Barolo from the Torriglione location 2019 and to top it off the Barolo Riserva 2016 also from Mario Gagliasso. The wines are presented very competently by the winemaker Claudia (Fontana) with a dose of humor to accompany the fine food. Marco's menu is wonderful, the Piedmont cuisine is very innovatively redesigned with a touch of lightness. An example of the Brasato al Barolo, fine, delicate with a wonderful sauce and dancing lightness on the palate, a real pleasure. The menu price with wine and water at CHF 158 is more than fair.
I can warmly recommend such events at the National to connoisseurs. Many thanks to the boss Esther and the entire national team. A very big bravo!!
Toilet full of piss on the floor and water comes out of the washbasin onto the floor. Was simply “fixed” with a bucket. The lid was also full of dirt.
According to the cleaning list, it was cleaned, which I don't quite believe :)
And it's not McDonald's as a company itself. If I've been to other McDonald's branches, the toilets are sometimes cleaner than in hotels
Unfortunately it depends more on the location itself

Just stop another McDonald branch. The cleanliness and staff are top notch, and the ambience is bright and open with the many glass walls. And there is also an outdoor area. I've been there several times and have nothing to complain about.
The Hirshengarben branch is an excellent place to work at, very comfortable! But the food options are small and getting smaller by the hour. They're never renewed, which apparently is expected at Starbucks. Go figure..
