Great restaurant! My first choice in the Unispital area for lunch. Friendly staff and good menus. A bit noisy at midday. But that's just part of a good restaurant.

More than 10 stars if possible... "A culinary experience for the senses" Pizzeria Vesuvio exceeded my expectations and gave me an unforgettable culinary experience. From the moment I walked in the door I was enveloped in the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the pizzeria. The selection of pizzas was impressive and reflected the variety and quality of Italian cuisine. I chose the Pizza Vesuvio and was not disappointed. The pizza was perfectly baked, with a crispy edge and a wonderfully fresh tomato sauce. The ingredients were fresh and of the highest quality, which was evident in every bite. The staff was extremely courteous and attentive, which made my visit even more enjoyable. They were knowledgeable and were able to help me choose my pizza, which I really appreciated. As for the atmosphere, Pizzeria Vesuvio felt like I was in a piece of Italy. The rustic decor and lively atmosphere created an atmosphere that invited you to linger and enjoy. All in all, my visit to the Pizzeria Vesuvio was a real highlight. If you are looking for authentic Italian cuisine in a welcoming environment, then you should definitely visit this pizzeria. Waited for about 10 at the bar without being served. Wasn't drunk or anything, just ignored. No idea why this place comes up when you search for gay bars...

Why do you hire people who have so little desire to work? It used to be busy, but today it's half empty. We had to wait over 15 minutes for the menu and then were ignored for 10 minutes so that we had to go to the bar ourselves to order. Oh yes, and you don't get a greeting either, you just get a tired pat and "Wand sie öppis bstelle"? Of course I want to order something, otherwise I wouldn't be here! And then... another endless wait for 2 soft drinks. After that we were ignored for 1.5 hours. We didn't see the waitress again. We then helped ourselves to two glasses of water at the reception. We then went back to the bar to pay. 3 people stand behind the bar, unfriendly and unproductive. It's sad what has become of your previously very good palette! Luckily the shop isn't full, otherwise people would die of thirst at your speed. There were almost 10 tables occupied inside and outside and the waitress can't remember who was sitting where and who ordered what. It's not the first time we've experienced these things with you, but it's definitely the last time!! Dear Management: You have been receiving feedback for months/years about your unmotivated, unfriendly and slow staff. You also answer... but exactly nothing changes. Very nice and well-equipped Hiestand Bistro "Black Market". Good selection of very tasty Hiestand products. The lunch was very tasty and freshly prepared. The staff is always friendly and helpful/accommodating. Enough space both inside and outside. Free parking spaces available in front of the bistro. Great, I'll be back again.

The food was excellent, the cuttlefish and the papaya salad were almost heavenly delicious. However, we weren't really happy with the service. We didn't feel welcome at all, the waitress literally slapped the plates on the table and there was no trace of friendliness. Accordingly, she didn't receive a tip from us. It's a shame, but still, we hope for an improvement. We will come back, if only because of the sepia :-)

Gestern abend, 21 Uhr haben wir uns in die beinahe leere Tapas Bar begeben. Viele Jahre als wiederkehrende Gäste lagen hinter uns. Was liegt näher, als dieser Bar, die um 22 Uhr schliessen muss, etwas Umsatz in die Kasse zu bringen? Wir haben die übliche Bestellung aufgegeben: Wein und Tapas. Der Kellner hat uns (1 Stunde vor der Schliessung des Lokals!) erklärt, dass er nur noch Wein servieren kann. Dies hätte sein Chef so veranlasst. Nach einiger Zeit wurde vom Kellner noch erwähnt, dass daran der Bundesrat Schuld trägt. Mein Wunsch, dies mit dem Chef persönlich zu besprechen, wurde leider ausgeschlagen. Zwei Versuche, heute bei der Tapas-Bar und auch beim Geschäftssitz im Zollikerberg anzurufen, blieben unbeantwortet. Fazit: so geht es nicht - dieser Gastronom verhöhnt mit seinem Verhalten die Gastrobranche, die zur Zeit um jeden Franken Umsatz kämpft. Schade, ich war immer gerne in dieser Bar zu Besuch. Solange aber dieser Besitzer dort das Sagen hat, werde ich mir einen anderen Ort für meine Tapas-Gelüste suchen müssen.

We ordered 3 different dishes and were all thrilled! As we had requested, we received really spicy dishes, not the European-style dishes that are usual here. The quality was top! Next I definitely have to go to the restaurant :-) --- Recently, five of us were in the restaurant and we all enjoyed an excellent dinner. My expectations were not disappointed! The food was all really good and the service was very friendly. The ambience is bright and inviting. The guests have plenty of space at their tables. I would have imagined it to be a little more “Indian” at best.

Für satte 11.- viel zu teuer für ein Dürüm mit fast kein Inhalt. Personal sehr unfreundlich, und für mich und meine Kumpels mehr sls genug Gründe nie wiedrr ein Fuss in diese Bude zu setzen.
