Exceeded expectations, great food with great refills and cocktails 😊

Rather an expensive restaurant, but worth the price. Good, fresh products, but the room is a bit cramped. My food came straight away, but my colleague's took 5 minutes longer even though we ordered at the same time. The staff is very friendly.

Short version: Ambrosi has a great atmosphere and a very nice waitress (as long as she isn't stressed). The food is okay, but nothing special. In terms of price, I think it's too expensive for what you get. Especially because it felt like half of the ingredients weren't there (I can't judge whether it's an exception or a rule). We had a fun evening here. Detailed report: Five of us were at Ambrosi on a Saturday evening around 1915. For me the restaurant was about half full, but the service was pretty rotating. At first there were (slightly) longer waiting times and the service was very short. But I found this still within reason. The emptier the Ambrosi became, the friendlier the service became. In the end, the service was the highlight of the evening. I ordered an Ambrosi Mule for 16.-. This is supposed to be a specialty of the house. The cup was a maximum of 3/4 full (rather less) and instead of kaffir leaves and passion fruit there was lime and thyme (see pictures). We were not informed about any missing ingredients. Something like this is absolutely wrong and should not happen. The waitress was attentive and probably noticed that something was wrong. With the second drink, the Pimps no. 1 (16.-), the glass came full to the brim. The waitress also apologized, saying it didn't have all the ingredients and that's why different ones were used. The missing ingredients lasted the entire evening (including during the meal). On a Saturday evening, I expect the kitchen to have all the ingredients there. From this point on, however, you were informed directly when you ordered and you could change your mind before it was on the table... As compensation we received a beer on the house. The beer was good. For starters we had a pizza (1:50 p.m.). This was a bit small and more of a mix between focaccia and pizza. But it was really tasty. For the main course we had Pasta la Vista in two flavors (All’Amatriciana/Ortolano). Unfortunately the pasta with chicken was no longer available(?). The taste was good, but nothing special. For 20 to 24 CHF per person, the portion was significantly too small. I was still hungry after eating. But I no longer breastfed him at Ambrosi. I found the visit to Ambrosi okay and even enjoyed myself. Plus point: the map is online. Minus point: The card is of no use because the ingredients are missing. I get significantly more for the money at other places. But I wouldn't advise against a visit. If you want to be sure, take the ingredients yourself. Maybe the missing ingredients were actually just a one-time thing. 3 stars is a bit too little, but unfortunately it really wasn't 4 stars.

During the first serving, the meat was really too cold. After we reported it to the friendly waitress, they took it away and we were given new plates. The atmosphere and staff are excellent, just like our favourite Relais where we always go in Paris, but it is a point of attention for the chef to make sure the food is definitely hot enough when it comes out of the kitchen!!

Relaxing atmosphere, kind staff, tasty Flammkuchen

From the city center we went to a Mexican restaurant. I found 3 in Zurich, but only this one was open on Monday. Which we do not regret. On the way to this restaurant, we were worried if it would be good because we passed all kinds of alleys and it didn't look good. From the outside, it doesn't look like a place where you would go for lunch. The toilets were also not the cleanest, but we haven't eaten better tacos. Really well seasoned. I praise. It's worth a try. You can also get here by tram number 17,4,13, but I didn't notice the name of the stop since we took a walk and walked.

Located in the middle of Lake Zurich, it is simply beautiful. The drinks prices are usual in Switzerland.

The restaurant has very high prices. Everything was very clean and tidy. We were just there to pass the time. Otherwise we wouldn't be there...

Tolles Pub mit super Stimmung und entspannten Gästen. Liegt vielleicht auch an der grandiosen und herzlichen Bedienung. Die Shots sind sehr günstig für Zürich, aber auch nicht soo stark. Zu empfehlen! Das nächste mal nehm ich was vom Grill! :)

Wow, that club was really bad! Starting with the women's toilet: one washbasin was completely out of order, the tap in the second was not attached. Toilet seats don't fit on the bowls and the whole floor was wet and therefore dirty. Warm water doesn't come on either, even though it's set to really hot. Toilet paper and/or tissues were used to dry hands. I didn't see a bucket either - the cloths ended up on shelves or on the floor. They weren't really very friendly at the bar either. Change was 10.00 too little, when I noticed it and asked her about it, she just said "no, that's not true". No further discussion! The dance floor is ok, but only has a single small table littered with cups and bottles. I only saw it being cleaned up once. It was extremely hot and humid and the floor was also wet. Nothing was cleaned up outside very rarely. The gentleman who did this task was super nice and took care of it. Overall, I didn't feel like there was an effort being made to make the club inviting. I've also never seen a club of this size with so much security. Are they paid with the money from the overpriced drinks?... I didn't feel comfortable in this place... too many things are just not right! Definitely won't go there again!

We were always going to this restaurant, and now all of a sudden, one of the waiters calls himself hero, was very rude. We ordered homemade icetea by mistake, and a customer can make a mistake, he starts teaching my boyfriend lessons about how home ice tea is ordered, that he should be more clear about how to make his orders. And then we confront him how we don't like his way, he kicks us out, and the whole time talks like we are teammates or something. Of course he (dust) me as if I am one of his colleagues, and this in German Language is very rude, and you have to wait a long time before we get service. So I wouldn't recommend it anymore, I used to but not any more.
