Great restaurant, highly recommended! Super service, nice atmosphere and delicious food! We had as starter tasty scallops (Jakobsmuscheln) in a small pan, as a main dish ribeye with truffles french-fries and spinach & filet steak with lobster tail and potato gratin. The meat was made on the BBQ-grill and tasted awesome. As dessert we had ice cream with an esspresso and finally a grappa. Definitevely a place I will visit again!

We visited the restaurant for the first time with friends in March. We had a nice table and an attentive, if stressed, waiter. He was always courteous and polite, but very short and therefore not that attentive. The food was sensational and exactly how we wanted it. There are 5 stars here! However, the price is also in the upper segment; we paid around 100 per person with wine and drinks. Nevertheless we will come back.

After several attempts in other regional restaurants, I unfortunately discovered that many establishments completely ignore the connection between hospitality, fine food and competent service. Not so in the EINTR-8. Technical, methodological and social skills are combined here. Friendly reception, attentive ladies in service who are extremely knowledgeable about the offerings and products and can make recommendations. The boss in the kitchen has a perfect hand for preparing the dishes. But you can't make a Chateaubriand out of a Cervelat. That's why we pay attention to quality when purchasing and the guest can feel it with the first bite. The preparation always corresponds to the customer's wishes. Compliment! The innkeepers have Montenegrin roots and source the majority of the wines they offer from the region around Podgorica. Red wines from the Balkans are often made from Grenache or Syrah grapes and usually do not have the long finish like those made from Tempranillo or Primitivo. However, since wine is purely a matter of taste, you should follow the recommendation here too. The price level at EINTRACHT is slightly high, but worth every franc. So if you want a good piece of meat, you'll get your money's worth here. --- 2 people, aperitif, starter (MNE platter & Balkan salad), 1x entrecôte, 1x rib-eye, 2x dessert, 2x coffee, 3 dl house wine = CHF 240.- --- Thank you 🙏 it was beyond delicious and begs to be repeated. El ambiente de los parlamentarios es mágico y hermoso. El servicio era de primera categoría. Teníamos el chateaubriand para dos. ¡Guauu! Regresamos en nuestra última noche en Montreux y cenamos en el chalet que era increíblemente hermoso. Esa noche tuvimos el único meuni re para dos, estaba delicioso, el mejor que he probado.Este es un restaurante fantástico. Lo recomiendo mucho cuando visite Montreux.

I usually don't order a basic piece of meat at a restaurant. I find the prices too high for something which I can easily do at home. BUT although I'm a pretty good cook, I have never gotten a steak or entrecôte to taste like this. Don't know how the cook does it but the meat is absolutely divine. The sides are freshly made and just the right amount. Very nice cozy chalet style setting, wonderful and super friendly service: our waitress, Sandy, was wonderful and the food was, again, incredible. Nice selection of local wines. We had the red assemblage which went perfectly with our dishes. We were there for my partner's birthday and before I could ask for dessert and give my candle to them, they brought us a Toblerone mousse (soooo good) with a candle and a sweet "happy birthday" song. It was so nice. It's a tiny restaurant so it's probably good to reserve. The prices are typical Swiss - yup... a bit on the high side but you really get your money's worth both in overall quality and quantity. We had been there a few years ago before the pandemic and were amazed - just as we were again this time. Hopefully it won't take us this long again to go back.
