Nice service, food good, but we had to pay an additional CHF 5.00 for a gluten-free pizza, which was not mentioned when ordering. This amount is almost “cheeky” 😳

The Vicania is definitely a pearl. We were picked up free of charge at the Hotel Relais Castello di Morcote and driven back again. However, a hike would have been just as great. The location is great and the selection of dishes is very down-to-earth and delicious. The wine selection is also impressive. We really enjoyed our short time in the restaurant and will definitely come back.

This place has been one of my favourite restaurants for Italian food but when I visited yesterday the food was extremely bland. I ordered a ravioli with white sauce but when it came it looked like there was double cream just put on it with no flavour. Small portion sizes. Plate was half full. Travelling from Manchester to London we always look forward to eating here. Its become extremely cramped in there. They are cutting corners. Even the cheese on my husbands gnocchi was more like a mild cheddar then mozzarella. All extremely bland.

We had a very nice meal here. The Parma ham for the starter was a little cold, fresh from the refrigerator, but the quality was top. The veal involtini with a very fine gorgonzola sauce and the fish plate were simply perfect. The service from the boss was very warm, attentive and friendly. Trattoria Emilia is definitely a recommendation

We were there for a lunch. Fast and kind service! Very good Margerita pizza and tricolor salad.

Good but very expensive for the daily menu, the starter of the day at 27chf and the dish of the day at 36chf. Damage!
