Service is great, food ok, not authentic Italian as I was looking for, the speed is really slow. But if you want to enjoy a good conversation and have a few glasses of wine, you might not mind waiting. We liked their spareribs, the rest of the dishes were solala.

Insanely good food!! The tartare and tuna as a starter, the cordon bleu as a main course, all prepared by master hands!! Extremely tasty and really enjoyable! Not something you do every day, but it's definitely worth a visit!

5 courses (without pre-dessert and without cheese) for 268.-. The repeated asking whether we would like to order additional courses or cheese bothered us a bit. We particularly enjoyed the amuse bouches at the aperitif and at the start of the menu. Unfortunately Silvio Germann wasn't there. Overnight stay in the gable room with a view towards Säntis: delicious snacks in the lounge in the afternoon (apple cake, onion quiche). Unfortunately, breakfast is only available until 10 a.m. Very nice, large smokers lounge, we were even there alone on a Saturday evening after dinner.

Last Sunday we made our way across the Schwägalp to Gais in heavy snow and slippery roads. We invited my mother to lunch at Truube in Gais for her 93rd birthday. We were greeted very friendly and taken straight to the chef's table, from where we could enjoy a clear view of the kitchen through a large recess. We would like to thank you very much for this great experience and the unique hospitality. Our self-composed multi-course menu was simply fantastic, both visually and culinary-wise. Every plate is a work of art and everything in a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere and totally prepared and attentive employees. We really appreciated it and were really happy that Ms. Manser came to our table several times for a conversation - and that with a full house. A magnificent ambience, wonderful food and warm hospitality were a perfect setting for my dear mother's birthday celebration.

We spontaneously decided to celebrate our birthday in Valais. We came across the Gommerstuba more or less by chance. Our expectations were far exceeded. The food is simply top. The service was very attentive but not intrusive. Price performance excellent. We haven't felt like guests like this in a long time. Thank you for the fine hospitality.

It was a wonderful lunch experience and a pleasure to enjoy the freshly prepared sushi rolls and a healthy soup in this family owned Japanese restaurant. Seating space is limited and it is recommended to place a reservation in case take out is not your preference.

Honestly, this gourmet dinner was really a great experience. Whether it's the kindness of the hosts, the magnificent, tasty dishes... Personal note, I would have appreciated a slightly lighter dessert. But it was delicious. I recommend without any hesitation. Thank you very much for this discovery.
