You don't go here because of the food but the service and atmosphere. It s a great place for an evening among friends. Food is very basic, but prices are reasonable. Their Macedonian red wine is decent and has a good value.
Were guests on the mountain with a large group. A fondue Moitie Moitie was promised. Unfortunately, it didn't come close to meeting our expectations. We all felt that the fondue was more like raclette, which wasn't that hot. It also didn't satisfy us in terms of taste. In addition, the weather was anything but intoxicating. At least things got better towards the end of our stay. So we were anything but enthusiastic, we certainly wouldn't order a fondue there again, we've had much better experiences.
Wonderful discovery. Very nice little restaurant reminding me of #LebardesArtistes in La Roche-sur-Yon (FR) or rue Hochelaga in Montreal. Impeccable and fast service. Excellent food (tasty and served very hot), warm staff attentive to our needs, decor a bit similar to a university student apartment. To recommend without reservation. Very honest prices.
We found the concept of the all-you-can-eat buffet great, it wasn't the first time we came! But this time we were disappointed! The quality of the buffet products has clearly decreased, the choice of dessert was really minimal and industrial! The cleanliness of the dishes and premises left something to be desired!
But what left us with a bitter taste the most was the price for children! 16frs for a 3 year old child!
What a shame, we really like this restaurant but I don't think I'll return there if improvements aren't made!
The waiter was very pleasant and smiling, unlike his colleagues!
After they took our last wine order an hour and a half before closing time listed on their website.
No one said anything about closing early.
After we got our wines our server came by and asked if we needed anything for last call.
We said no (we had full glasses of wine).
Then he brought us the bill immediately.
We paid our bill (a bit confused). Our server assured us “you can drink your glasses of wine. No rush”.
Then his colleague -if any restaurant owner or investor wants to know, it was the guy with the star on the back of his neck and the chip on his shoulder - turned the music full blast, and started putting up chairs on the tables - making so much noise my friend, and I couldn’t hear ourselves speak.
Apparently managed by the brothers of my favorite Pizzaria, Fratelli Scalea at Les Acacias, here at Petit Lancy, good food in a pleasant and less noisy setting than at Les Acacias 👍🏻🍀😊
Nice atmosphere, pleasant service, I really liked the homemade kefir.
However, being a fan of "street food" bao (I eat it whenever there is a bao restaurant in the area) I must say that I was quite disappointed... My friend and I tasted the one with mushroom, pulled beef, pork, breaded chicken and shrimp (the worst of all) and found most lacked sauce, making them rather dry in the mouth.
It wasn't bad overall, but they all lacked flavor and sauce compared to the baos we've tasted throughout our travels... Also the homemade cold tea had no taste, maybe it was the end of the jar and it may have been extended too much in the water...
Otherwise the homemade mayonnaise and sweet potato fries were very good! The same goes for miso soup. There is potential!
