I visited Konolfingen and was guided here by the advisor I was visiting. It's a historic restaurant that my advisor's father has been frequenting since his father's time, and I received the best hospitality from my advisor. ✨The interior is made of wood and I was able to enjoy the local atmosphere of Switzerland. The first thing I ate was a green salad, and the main course was Zürcher Geschnetzeltes. When I looked into it later, it seemed to be a staple of local cuisine. The meat was very tender and delicious. My stomach felt just right at the 8th minute. When I told the advisor that it was very delicious, the same thing came out again. (✌) To finish off, I had ice cream 🍧. It was a very relaxing restaurant. The madam who took our orders was friendly, bright and nice. Thank you for the meal!(^o^)!
Very nice restaurant with a beautiful view. The restaurant probably can't do much about it, which is why it doesn't affect the rating, but a toll of 7 francs for motorcycles is a disgrace. Tolls are ok, but please half as much as for cars, we only have two wheels.
Great location. The rooms are beautiful. It's just a shame that with a room price of over CHF. 360.- breakfast is charged separately and there is no espresso machine in the room. The food at the Pinte was sensational.
The Hotel Bären Twann is an absolute insider tip! The restaurant offers an exquisite selection of delicious dishes prepared with fresh ingredients. The ambience is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, and the service is simply first class. The menu offers a variety of options that will satisfy every palate. Whether you are a meat lover, vegetarian or vegan, there is something to suit everyone. The dishes are not only tasteful, but also creative and lovingly presented. The Hotel Bären Twann impresses across the board and is definitely worth a visit!
Restaurant and hotel decorated with attention to detail. Friendly staff and great regional breakfast buffet. The view and the experience factor are unique. Great customer playground and puzzle fun. The journey from Wilderswil with the cog railway is also a highlight.
The food was OK, has potential for improvement. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was served quickly.
What I always find extremely unfortunate is when I order water in a restaurant and instead of water I receive lemon water. Why does there have to be a piece of lemon in the water? If you feel compelled to serve water with a lemon wedge, please point this out to guests. There are people, like me, who don't really like lemons.
For me? Perfect. But im so flexible person. I booked in a room of 16 bed . But i loved it. Floor are noisy and shower is not free. But the whole booking was super cheap so i loved it
I visited back in Oct, and I still remember the soup I had here as being absolutely divine. My hotel wasn’t ready for me to check in yet, so I settled in and had some lunch (soup and cooked veggies) and wine. Being the off-season it was at most 1/4 to 1/2 full, great atmosphere and extremely peaceful with a lovely view. Was also glad for the free parking spot attached got the restaurant for guests. Hope to return!
